About Maizee
Expert Analysis

What I like the most about her is her work ethic from the guard spot. I believe she’s able to do damage at both guard spots with the ability to score, and she could also bring the ball up and handle the point. Good communicator, looks to get her team involved. I like this kids game!

Maizee will be one of the guards to watch for Michigan Basketball Skills Academy 15U at the final stop of the PGH Michigan College Tour in Saginaw Valley. She is a dynamic offensive threat who can heat up quickly from beyond the arc while also creating scoring opportunities for others with her ability to break down defenders off the dribble. Maizee has the vision to find open teammates and consistently makes the right play when defenses collapse. On the defensive end, her active hands and anticipation allow her to generate steals and turn defense into offense. With her ability to score, facilitate, and impact the game on both ends, Maizee has all the tools to be one of the key playmakers in the 15U division this weekend.

Maizee was productive in her role for Davison as a freshman. She’s a guard who can fill it up from beyond the arc, create open looks for teammates off the dribble, dish out assists, and generate steals with her quick hands on the defensive end. She’ll be a prospect to watch with Mystics Chosen 15U at the PGH MI College Tour on Saturday.

Maizee made her presence felt for Team Sparks with her active defense and high-energy play. She showed great instincts on the defensive end, using her quick hands to disrupt passing lanes and create turnovers. In transition, she sprinted the floor with purpose, often putting herself in position for easy scoring opportunities. Maizee also proved she could stretch the floor, confidently knocking down shots from behind the arc and providing her team with a valuable perimeter threat.

Maizee is going to be a very productive guard for Davison this winter. Maizee has a pure three-point shot, sets up teammates with her crisp passes, and works hard on the defensive end. She’s thrived in multiple showcases leading up to this weekend, and I’m excited to see her compete at the Headliners Invitational.

Maizee was a standout player at SkillCase last week, and she had a solid day for Team 4 at the Freshman Showcase. She’s radiating confidence on the court and looks ready to make an immediate impact at Davison this winter. Maizee was active on both sides of the ball. She grabbed a steal and sprinted in from the perimeter to secure a rebound. Maizee used a quick sweep move to get by her defender and buried the elbow jumper with smooth shooting mechanics. She set the standard for positive energy, celebrating teammates, fully engaged on the bench, and communicating constantly on the court.

Maizee is an incoming freshman who has continued to grow on me all summer. She had a strong day at SkillCase and is clearly going to be an impactful player for Davison at the high school level. Maizee was one of the most accurate and efficient shooters during the drills. She buried many mid-range jumpers from the wings, elbows, and at the free-throw line. Maizee lifted from the corner to the wings, caught passes ready to fire, and swished many three-pointers with sound mechanics. In games, she continued to stand out. Maizee drained a triple from the corner, added another from the wing, and went by with a quick crossover to score a layup. Her skills and style are going to fit right in at Davison this winter.

Maizee is an incoming freshman who has a bright future ahead of her at Davison. She caught a pass with her feet balanced and buried a three-pointer from the wing. Maizee crashed the boards to secure multiple offensive rebounds and made an excellent entry pass for an assist. She used textbook box-out technique on a long shot attempt to keep her girl from securing the rebound and finished a full-speed layup with her left hand.
