I-35 Showcase 2027 Uncommitted Players to Watch

I also like the event as college coaches support event with their attendance. The event gave me the chance to see e players before they leave or first time. Below are 5 players that I think their recruiting process is just now beginning and will pick up next live events. Aleah stood out as she made things happen on both ends of the floor. Nice outside shooter that did a great job moving with out the ball finding the open spots for the kick out or extra pass. Made goo decisions at when to attack the gap not putting herself in a turnover situation. Showed a good understanding of the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A guard that can play either the top of the zone or the 3 spot at the bottom of the 2/3 zone. The 2027 guard will be asked to carry a heavier scoring load for her school team this season. Good hands int he post area with a solid touch off the glass. Does the work early giving the guard a nice clean target to enter the ball. Earn honors this past season as a junior. Physical post player that could play the power forward or center at the next level. Showed a good mid-range jumper making her a good option in a high low game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 2027 that is expected to have a strong senior season to back up her performance as a junior. The outside shooting ability Katie demands respect and opens up big driving lanes for the guard. The All-State guard knows how to win as she has been a fixture int he Okarche program success. A scrappy guard on defense that excels when the press is on. Tycee is a possible match up problem for opposing teams. As mentioned the shooter can get hot from beyond the arch barking the question do you cover her with a guard or post. She 6'0 guard is versatile enough to play the 3-4 spots if matched up with a guard. A very solid mid-range game with some post moves would be an issue for a guard. Meaning she was physical with the on ball defense making the other team point guard difficult to run sets. She would get clipped on a ball screen hop right back up applying the pressure again. 50.50 balls did not mind getting on the floor for the possession. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nice outside shooter that knocked them down on a catch and shoot. Aggressive driver that finished at the time through the contact. Scrappy guard on the press that made turnovers happen. Protype small forward that has an outside jumper and a very solid mid-range game. Ileeya is that player who makes things happen off the ball with backdoor cuts and offensive putbacks. An aggressive down hill driver that finishes with a layup or nice floater. The small forward is a game changer as she draws so many fouls with her physical play. A player who is going to find a way to score at the riim or end up at the free throw line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Active hands and great timing resulted in many deflections or steal in the pressing game.
