The 2026 DMV Live once again brought some of the nation's top college programs to the mecca of girls' basketball, and the players did not disappoint. From nationally ranked prospects to local under-the-radar talent, there was no shortage of quality basketball on display throughout the weekend. Court 2 became my home from Thursday through Saturday, providing a front-row seat alongside college coaches and scouts evaluating the area's next wave of talent.

Among the standouts were two players who earned Division I offers during the event. Braylin was locked into her offensive bag all weekend, showcasing her ability to control the game and proving why she is ready to take over the keys at McDonogh. There were very few possessions where she wasn't involved, whether creating for herself or facilitating for others. Meanwhile, Londyn quickly turned heads on Court 1, leaving college coaches impressed with her combination of size, motor, and determination. Despite her young age, she played with confidence beyond her years and demonstrated why her recruitment is already gaining momentum.

Braylin showed relentless effort on defense as she lead the second half surge. On two of three possessions she came up with two steals, a saved ball in front of scouts, then a fast break and-one finish sliding in front of another set of college coaches, lastly a steal with a lead pass which lead to her grabbing the offensive rebound.

Aubree brings an edge every time she steps on the floor. Defensively, she's feisty, disruptive, and uses her quick hands and smaller frame to her advantage. She has the ability to single-handedly slow down opposing point guards, applying relentless full-court pressure while staying attached at the hip and making every possession uncomfortable.

On the offensive end, Aubree plays with the same competitive fire. She's quick with the ball in her hands and doesn't shy away from pressure, attacking full-court defenses with confidence. In the half-court, she shows poise as a floor general, running the offense efficiently while creating opportunities for both herself and her teammates. Whether it's finding an open teammate or generating her own shot, she has a knack for making the right play.

Her game can be played inside out as shown during DMV Live period. Her physical play becomes hard to defend for the typical sized guard which makes her getting down hill with ease. Her game can then adjust to the collapsing defense, where she can pull up or stay outside.

Brooklyn is a new addition to the Pallotti Panthers and looks poised to help fill some of the production lost after the graduation of two Division I players. She brings good size, quick feet, and a high motor on both ends of the floor. During DMV Live, Brooklyn showed exactly why she fits Pallotti's system, consistently moving without the ball, crashing the glass, and making hustle plays that impact winning. She was especially effective on the defensive boards, finishing with 8 defensive rebounds, while turning second-chance opportunities into 8 put-backs. Her willingness to defend, rebound, and do the little things should make her a valuable piece for the Panthers this season.

Mikaela had the best overall game for her graduating class this weekend during DMV Live. She has a natural feel for the game and allows the flow and ball to find her and that it did. In three games, she averaged 12 points. Scoring from all levels but most within the mid range game. Her height and athleticism allows her to shoot over most with ease.

Defensively, she is quick enough to guard all positions on the court but most effective on the defensive block. She was able to capture 16 total rebounds along with five steals simply being a magnet for the ball.
