MW Premier 17U has some impressive pieces on roster and Morris might end up being their best. When I have been watching her the last 24 hours she has hit jumpers off the catch from deep from multiple spots on the outside, she is screening on the outside and rolling into her actions with ease at the rim, all while being a lengthy defender that most can't shake."

"There is a lot to like about Jalynn Belton of this 17U Miami Suns team. It seems like she is always moving off of the ball, both on the inside of the paint and on the perimeter, making her a tough guard for opposing Forwards/Centers. She has also demonstrated that she can KILL anyone in her way in the midpost with a nasty turnaround jumper or smooth up & under move. If you actually study the dynamic of this team as a whole Belton is apart of their emotional leadership. She keeps high energy on both offense while being their lead lady when they are defending out of a zone at the top of a key. She is going to come onto the Varsity high school scene this Winter for the first time and she might contend for being the best pure SG within the state as a whole as a Freshman. Today her 15U EYBL team went to work moving onto the Elite 8 of the Platinum bracket for Nike Nationals. During this contest, Joens was knocking down buckets from the outside both off the catch and in transition, which helped spread out the defense as a whole, ultimately giving their group the upper hand on the offensive end. There was a lot to like from Joens today and that's been a common theme this AAU season on the 15U EYBL Circuit."

"The AIA group might have fallen short to Missouri Phenom EYBL but not due to a lack of effort by Johnson and company. When the final buzzer sounded, it was a healthy win for Phenom but Johnson had a stat line of her own with 25 points on over 50% shooting from the field. Johnson is listed as a PG but in reality with this team she was a CG, who did all that she could today to keep her team in it and that's something you have to respect. She left it all out there and that's exactly what you expect out of a top rated prospect."

"Beckett is the real deal. This is my first time getting the chance to see her compete and she has been impressive the way she carries herself as a whole. She has been a lethal scoring threat that her team can trust in when they need it the most but she can also produce as a creator once she gets into the middle of the defense. All in all, this is going to be another P4 player at the end of the day. Where to? Who knows. It's early but it's not too early to know that she is going to turn out to be something special in this sport of her career."

"Size. Touch. Balanced Coordination. Self-awarness. These are just a few of the phrases that we will use to describe Borcherding. EB was flying down the floor from rim to rim today, doing her work early-on so that she could beat her individual matchup down the floor for easy buckets in transition. If not, she would post up and score over smaller defenders that were stepping in her way. Defensively, she is someone that everyone had to worry about when they drove or else it would end in a poor shot attempt with her combination of reach and athletic ability."

We were back today in McCormick Place for Day Two of EYBL play and Nike TOC play in general. In this piece we highlight the play that we specific took notes on today while watching the EYBL side of things.
