It is a little crazy thinking the Class of 2027 is in their final month of grassroots basketball and will play their last high school season this winter. Numerous players have already announced their plans to continue their playing careers at the next level, and dozens more will do so sometime in the next nine months. Today, we will highlight the top ten players in the rising senior class, beginning with the top five in the updated class rankings.

The Poynette native is a rangy and versatile forward who can affect the game on both ends of the floor. Albrecht competes well in the paint and has the length to make plays on the ball around the basket. Offensively, she can space the floor, finish around the rim, and is a better passer than you may think. The Poynette Puma will continue her playing career in the Horizon League at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The Rice Lake forward is, potentially, the best rebounder I've seen in my time covering Wisconsin Girls' Basketball. She's a strong kid who can generate extra possessions and excels at defending around the basket. She's a double-double threat every time she steps foot on the floor. Schmidt will play volleyball and basketball at the next level in the Horizon League at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The Kimberly wing has always excelled as a defender. She's had significant trust from her high school coaches to defend some of the elite players she's lined up against on an island, and she's done well. She has improved her offensive game in her time at Kimberly, and hasn't come close to her ceiling on that end of the floor. Dulas will continue her playing career in the Big East at Marquette University.

Nobody in Wisconsin at the moment has a quicker first step than [player_tooltip player_id='751257' first='EllaMay' last='Cooper']. Her speed can put defenses on their heels, and she can create at a high level for herself and others. As she's matured, she's become a more consistent offensive threat who can get to her spots almost whenever she wants, and she's a gnat on the other end who can slide her feet and stay in front of her defensive assignment. She's currently undecided on where she will play basketball at the next level.

There may not be another player who's as smooth as [player_tooltip player_id='751281' first='Rita' last='Kuepper'] in this class. The Hartford native is a player who can get to her spots, score at all three levels, and make scoring 30 look like the easiest thing on the planet. Anytime she gets into a groove, Kuepper can be the most dominant player on the floor, no matter who she's lined up against. The Oriole will continue her playing career in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
