It is a little crazy thinking the Class of 2027 is in their final month of grassroots basketball and will play their last high school season this winter. Numerous players have already announced their plans to continue their playing careers at the next level, and dozens more will do so sometime in the next nine months. Today, we will highlight the top ten players in the rising senior class, beginning with the top five in the updated class rankings.

The SPASH guard has continuously improved throughout her three seasons with the Panthers. Seubert came into high school as a well-rounded scorer who could get to her shot from all three levels. Over time, she's improved as a creator and has become a player who can get the most out of any teammate she plays with. She's the ultimate team player who can score 20, dish out 10 assists, and break down defenders off the dribble. Seubert has also been one of the best athletes in her class, and it translates on the defensive end of the floor. The Central Wisconsin native will continue her playing career in the Big Ten at the University of Iowa.

The Edgewood guard has all the intangibles a coach would want in a lead guard. Miller makes the right play every trip down the floor. She makes the game look simple. She can score from anywhere on the floor, get to her spots, and punish teams for minor mistakes. Nothing has ever seemed to rattle her, and it's hard to imagine that'll change at the next level. The Madison native will stay home and play her collegiate basketball at the University of Wisconsin in the Big Ten.

The Waunakee native is among the more electric guards in this rising senior class. Bryan is capable of anything on the floor, and she's improved her consistency over her three seasons. She's found ways to improve while continuing to play on the edge. The rising senior has all the athletic tools to be a dynamic guard at the next level, and she's never had an ounce of fear. No matter where she winds up at the next level, she'll compete from the moment she steps onto a college campus. She's one of the few players who can swing a game no matter who she lines up against.

The Kimberly wing/forward has been crucial for the Papermakers in her time at the high school level. She has been a reliable source of offense and has the physicality to overpower players at the high school level. Her coaches have also trusted her to make decisions with the ball at the high post, and she's thrived being the fulcrum of offensive possessions. Van Vonderen has been among the more consistently productive physical wing/forwards in recent memory. She will continue her playing career in the Big Ten at the University of Wisconsin.

Alic has a higher ceiling than she may even realize. The Oshkosh native got to competitive basketball later than most, but she has all the tools to be a player who surprises people at the next level. Alic can create off the dribble, score from all three levels, and has the athleticism and physical tools to be an elite defender. Her best basketball is still ahead of her, and she has yet to choose where her future basketball home will be.
