Future Headliners From the 2029 Class

The 2029 class has talent at every position, from the guards and wings to the players who do their work in the paint. The potential varies throughout the class, but a majority of these prospects have a solid chance to play at the next level if they continue to develop and add to their games. While the heavy hitters in this class are already well known, there are still plenty of prospects who have flown under the radar. Below are a few players who have the talent to work their way into that conversation.    A player with 100% confidence and 0% hesitation from the outside. Kendall can get things going after the first couple of made shots, and there's no slowing her down from there. The pressure she puts on the defense to stay attentive has started to open up her playmaking as well. She's able to make solid decisions once she scans the floor, and when she's attacking the rim, she shows the IQ to know when to kick it out and how to create easier opportunities for her teammates.     Providence has put out some strong talent, and LaMonte has a chance to etch her name into that group as the years go on. As of now, she has a solid skill set and can get to her spots and angles without the extra dribbles. She's consistent with her go to moves and how she looks to score, doing what she has to do to get it done. She'll either put pressure on the defense by knocking down the three or get to the rim for a soft but high arching floater. There's still some sharpening and adding to her skill set that needs to be done, but there's nothing but time on her side.     Fourdyce has the foundation to continue climbing the ladder of top prospects in this class, and consistency in her game will be a huge part of getting her there. Much of her skill set seems to be driven by her length and her role as the focal point of her program. If she's able to continue expanding her game into a complete skill set with multiple counters and sharpen her ability to play without the ball, she'll take a major step forward. All of that will come with time, and if she's able to keep up the same impact against tougher competition, the recruitment will follow.     Duff has the frame and length at a young age that points toward a physical type of player, and she displays that as well. She can stretch the floor if need be, and the jumper is smooth and never really rushed, but she does a good amount of her damage by getting to the rim and finishing. There's a good amount of upside for Duff and definitely a stock riser by the time the high school season starts.     Richardson is another player in this class who has shown a solid amount of improvement to her overall game since the end of her freshman season. She has the length to get to her spots in just a couple of steps and dribbles, along with enough creativity to finish around the defense. Her game isn't predicated on being the most physical or the fastest player on the court, but rather on her pace and steady emotion that keep defenders on edge when they match up with her. I believe once the physical attributes start to catch up, whether that's speed, strength, or athleticism, she'll raise her stock for sure. The skill set is there, and so is the potential.
