Hoop Group Jersey Shore Live – 2029 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a busy weekend of games at Multi-Sports Kingdom and Superdome Brick and these 2029 players put on a great show.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Montana Knoeller - NJ Rise</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Montana is a physical, aggressive guard. She uses her body well to establish driving lanes and create separation on her way to the rim. She uses her eyes and ball fakes to move defenders on drives inside. On Friday night, she looked confident knocking down the 3-pointer with a nice stroke off an elevator screen and on the very next possession she got a steal for a layup. As a freshman at Toms River North HS, she led the team in points, assists and steals, was 2nd in 3-pointers and 3rd in rebounds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Camryn Donlan - NJ Rise</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Camryn is a strong finisher around the rim through contact. She moves defenders off their spot with her power dribble and she was aggressive to the rim in transition. As a freshman at Manasquan HS, she saw action in 10 games for the Group 2 State Champions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Reese Adams - NJ Rise</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reese is a long and physical presence inside for NJ Rise. She was patient with the ball in the post and did not force shots. She used her length to her advantage on the inbounder on the top of her team's press. While her offense continues to develop, she manages to impact the game in several ways. She looks to contribute to a talented Colts Neck HS team that won the Central Group 3 Sectional Championship last year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1247945' first='Mia' last='Pratola'] - NJ Rebels</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mia kept her team in the game and was, eventually, the reason they won in 2OT Friday night. She was fearless with the ball in crunch time and hit big shots in the paint and from the 3-point line. She was not phased by a very physical opposing defense. She never came off the floor and controlled everything the NJ Rebels do offensively. As a freshman, Mia led Southern HS in points, 3-pointers and blocks and was 2nd in assists and steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1627905' first='Alaina' last='Damico'] - [program_tooltip program_id='714650' first='NJ' last='Freedom']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday morning, Alaina was excellent attacking the rim with great speed and body control. She anticipated passes off the ball and got out quick in transition. She explodes to the rim on dribble drive and finished in traffic. As a freshman on a 23-6 Pequannock HS team that advanced to the North 1 Group 1 Sectional finals, she led the team in 3-pointers, was 2nd in assists and 3rd in points and steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kayla James - [program_tooltip program_id='714650' first='NJ' last='Freedom']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kayla showed good hands on the ball defensively. She got multiple steals and deflections Saturday morning. She drove hard to her right hand and finished through contact on multiple occasions. She pushed the tempo and is a willing distributor. On a [program_tooltip program_id='714650' first='NJ' last='Freedom'] team lacking a true PG, Kayla willingly assumes the role. She played in two games as a freshman for her Ridgewood HS team and should assume a major role with the graduation of 7 of their 8 top scorers from last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brooke Carney - [program_tooltip program_id='714650' first='NJ' last='Freedom']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brooke keyed a late comeback for [program_tooltip program_id='714650' first='NJ' last='Freedom'] against NJ Rise before falling in OT. She hit multiple 3-pointers and dove hard for an impressive back door layup. Her energy was contagious and rallied her team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Charlee Quimby - Hudson Valley Knights</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Charlee is 6'2" and uses her size to her full advantage. In two wins on Sunday, she showed good hands and the ability to finish around the rim. She got deep post position and displayed the strength to hold off defenders while she awaited the post entry. She did an excellent job of rebounding the ball at a high point and keeping it away from the opponent. She frequented the FT line where she displayed a soft touch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
