Over the next week, we will focus some time on players and teams who had high-end summers. The only program we got to see in-person this summer were the three teams for [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme']. All had excellent summers, with the 15U team one of the top on the Puma circuit and the 16U team advanced to the national championship game of the circuit where they lost to Chapman Basketball in the title game.

This group had a 32-5 summer season, and went on a big run in Orlando and also won the Run for the Roses tournament in Louisville, KY in mid-July. As we have highlighted four players from this team already this summer -- [player_tooltip player_id='1044997' first='Abby' last='Crabtree'], [player_tooltip player_id='884644' first='Myra' last='Hansen'], [player_tooltip player_id='988330' first='Faith' last='Samek'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1825530' first='Evelyn' last='Kraus'] -- here are a few others that could raise their stock over the next year. This is a team loaded with players who can play at the small college level and have high upside as their games continue to improve.

We will be back each day this week with more player profiles. If we missed your team, or program or class just be patient. We'll do our best to highlight as many players as we can.

An excellent shooter, PIttenger has been a part of two state tournament teams at Lincoln Christian. PIttenger plays with great energy and is a kid who seemingly never needs to come out the game. She can get it done on both ends of the floor and is excellent in the "catch and shoot" game. For the Crusaders last March, she averaged 9.1 points per game and added 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists per contest. A volume shooter, Lexi led Lincoln Christian in three-point attempts and was a 34 percent shooter over the season. Older sister, Maci heads to Concordia this season and Lexi has a chance to continue her rise in recruiting over the next two seasons.

Vanosdall was an excellent playmaker for Platteview last season and that continued during the summer as she was named one of the top players at the Run 4 the Roses Tournament. A heady guard, she led the Trojans in scoring (10.5 points per game) last spring and also added 3.4 assists and 1.7 steals. Vanosdall player in the class of 2028 who has a real chance to improve her stock with college coaches. She's good with the ball in her hands and can make plays for her teammates at a high level. With a good, core returning group back for Platteview as well, Vanosdall could be a player that makes more strides in this winter.

A big summer of development for Oliver, who played in all 26 games for Lincoln Pius last season as they advanced to the Class B semifinals losing an excellent game to eventual state champion Bennington. A combo guard, Oliver is one of those players who does all the "little things" a team needs to win. She is a good defender who can cause problems for opposing teams and has the ability to get in the paint to the basket as well. She shot 38 percent from the field last year and improving on a 28 percent 3-point make rate will open eyes. Oliver will most definitely have an increasing role for a Pius team that could be one of the top in Class B next winter.

Generally one thing associated with Omaha Skutt players is toughness and you get that with Currans. A key player for the Skyhawks as a sophomore, Currans was a player who could go inside and outside as well on the Supreme this summer. She was second for Skutt in scoring last winter (9.1 points per game) and with a young core returning will see an even bigger role next winter. Currans is another good defender (this Supreme played excellent team defense) and has a knack of finding the ball. She pulled down 3.0 rebounds and added 1.5 steals for the Skyhawks as well.

Lewis is a "long" guard who was a key player for Papillion-LaVista South last year that expects to improve this year with a fully healthy [player_tooltip player_id='747245' first='Addison' last='Medeck'] (Nebraska commit). Last winter, Lewis led the Titans with 2.4 assists per contest, while adding 8.8 points 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest. Lewis is another one of this Supreme group that can really increase her college stock over the next two high school seasons and a big summer next year, wherever she lands.

Over the next week, we will focus some time on players and teams who had high-end summers. The only program we got to see in-person this summer were the three teams for Nebraska Supreme . All had excellent summers, with the 15U team one of the top on the Puma circuit and the 16U team advanced to the national championship game of the circuit where they lost to Chapman Basketball in the title game.
