Samek has had an excellent start to her high school career at Aquinas Catholic where this past winter, she averaged 14.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and over two assists and steals each per contest. Samek plays with no fear and has the ability to get downhill on defenders. Over four games in the Puma circuit in Norman, OK, Samek tallied 52 points and 24 rebounds as her Nebraska Supreme team went 3-1, which included a narrow loss to FBC West Coast 46-44.

. Samek is highly motivated and adaptable. She can fit within any program or system it seems while being a coordinated athlete with the ball in her possession. She also does a great job as a cutter, moving into open space and finding opportunities. I have a feeling that Samek is going to be an important piece for years to come within her program. She showed her worth during year one last Winter and I’m sure she is excited to do that once again this upcoming season.

I am a big fan of Faith Samek and what she brings to the court. Samek is a versatile guard, that can move around and be a positive influence. She is decently skilled in most facets of the game and her smart situational awareness helps her show dominance against other alike prospects. At Aquinas Catholic I’m guessing that she gets to the see the Varsity floor in some moderation this Winter. With what I’ve seen first hand, she is one of the better 2028’s that the state has to offer so I’m sure that will be somewhere in the cards in her near future.

I don’t not know the roster that Aquinas Catholic is bringing to the floor quite yet for this upcoming season but it’s hard to believe that Faith Samek won’t be a crucial part to their plan over these next couple of years. Samek will come in as a 5’8 Freshman this Winter and she will be ready to start things off with a bang. This is a prospect that can do a number of positive things on the hardwood, depending on what is being asked of her. She can play the PG spot and pass off the rock with ease, she can move off the ball and attack off the catch, or she can play physical ball down low near the paint. As long as she finds her niche early on at AC high school, she is going to be fine. She put together a solid day at this event and she should be proud of that.

of Aquinas Catholic High School is an interesting talent out of the 2028 Class, that I’m going to have to watch closely these next few years. Samek is a multi-sport athlete, that seems to be extremely busy all year long, in which ever sport is in season. She is a faster learner and she adapts pretty well situationally. If those two things can stay constant, she could turn some heads before you know it this Winter. I’m not too sure who Aquinas will have coming back just yet but either way, Samek is sure to be ready to roll.
