Top Uncommitted Players in the 2027 Class

These girls have yet to commit to play college hoops. She has offers from Williston State (a school that just came off of a historic season), Jamestown (a school that just transitioned to Division 2 Northern Sun), and Minot State (NSIC). These are all quality offers and showcase how talented Neshem is. She is a superior scorer and has a terrific work ethic. She plays on both sides of the ball and has potential to be a really good Division 2 player. I like her tenacious competitive nature and her willingness to do the little things. College coaches aren't just getting a scoring machine, they are getting someone who will compete defensively, rebound, and dive for loose balls.     This summer I was able to talk to a coach that coaches in the same Region as Central McLean and has to gameplan against Snyder during the regular season. He says Morgan is as good as advertised and agrees with me that she could play some Division 2 basketball if given the opportunity. She is an All-State talent that has scoring ability that I would put up against nearly every girl in the state. She can flat out hoop. She is really good at creating her own shot and has a very nice looking shooting form. She is a knock-down outside shooter. Her athletic ability is what stands out the most. She is incredibly quick up the floor and zooms past defenders.     Hollar stands out amongst other players in the state, literally. She stands at 6'3 and looks the part of a college post. She will have the chance to play just based off her height, length, and athletic ability. She is a premier defender in the state and rebounder. She runs gracefully up the court and could be a very effective rim runner. She seems to have good hands and can catch passes in traffic as well as tip herself offensive rebounds. She was only healthy for about a third of the season in 2025-2026. I am excited to see how the Sabers do with a full season of Sadie anchoring the lineup at the center position.     Century does a great job at producing multisport athletes. This is a culture the athletic department has done a terrific job at promoting and has helped lead their school to success in multiple sports. Olivia is not only a standout basketball player but also a standout volleyball player. Anyone who is familiar with North Dakota volleyball knows how tough Century has been the past decade plus. Olivia earned herself All-WDA honors in hoops and will be back hungry next season. The Patriots will be one of the favorites to win the title in 2027 and will need to rely on Klimpel's senior leadership. She leads by example. She is Century's best rebounder and is a quality two-way player.     Maddock is another player in this list who is used to experiencing success. She led her squad to a state title in 2025 and to a third-place finish in 2026. She is hoping to lead the Wildcats back to the state tournament in 2027. Her leadership qualities are easy to spot, even on film. She is a steady ball-handler who does not get rattled by opposing team's pressure defenses. She doesn't let good defense impact her ability to take care of the ball and make good decisions. She is a very good point guard who can score and pass. I think she would be great at any of the region's junior colleges or NAIA schools.     Abby, like Kaitlyn, would be a good player at the junior college and/or NAIA level. Dickinson has struggled to find victories in recent years but don't let that dampen Abby's talent or college potential. She is a good athlete and physically strong player. She looks like she has taken the weight room seriously, something any athlete hoping to play college sports has to do. She can battle with taller girls because of her strength. She is a high-caliber shooter and would really thrive on a team with more talent. Her percentages don't quite match up with how good of a shooter she is. This is because she is always opposing team's number one scout and the Mavericks have struggled to find a number two option that can take some pressure off of Abby. She is a multi-year All-WDA selection and should be a lock again in 2027.
