Tuesday Night Tune Up Momentum Builders

The Tuesday Night Tune Up at Grand Blanc High School gave teams one final opportunity to sharpen their game before the busy July travel schedule begins. While the event lasted just one evening, it featured plenty of players who used the extra competition to build confidence and carry positive momentum into the biggest stretch of the recruiting calendar. From playmakers and scorers to defensive standouts and all-around competitors, these athletes took advantage of the opportunity and left the gym with their games trending in the right direction. Here are some of the momentum builders who stood out at the Tuesday Night Tune Up.    Audrey put together a well-rounded performance for the Mystics at the Tuesday Night Tune Up, making an impact on both ends of the floor. The guard was active defensively, using her anticipation and quick hands to come away with multiple steals that helped ignite transition opportunities. Offensively, she displayed excellent court vision with several sharp passes that led to easy baskets for her teammates. Audrey also attacked the baseline with confidence, finishing a strong drive with a smooth inside-hand layup. She capped off her performance by stretching the defense with multiple three-pointers from well beyond the arc, proving she has the range to score from deep. Her combination of playmaking, scoring ability, and defensive activity made her one of the night's standout guards.     Elle was one of the top perimeter threats for Michigan Crossover at the Tuesday Night Tune Up. The guard is the type of shooter defenses have to respect the moment she crosses half court, as she consistently knocked down multiple three-pointers throughout the night. Her confidence and consistency from beyond the arc make her a constant scoring threat. Defensively, Elle's basketball IQ was equally impressive. She was consistently in the right position, reading the action well and jumping passing lanes to create turnovers. It all added up to a terrific all-around performance and a great night on both ends of the floor.     Ella made an immediate impact for the Mystics at the Tuesday Night Tune Up in her return from a minor injury. The long guard looked comfortable on both ends of the floor, knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc while also creating offense off the dribble. She attacked the basket with confidence, getting past her defender to finish at the rim, and showed great poise when facing pressure by using a retreat dribble to reset the offense and make smart decisions. Defensively, Ella was disruptive throughout the game, coming away with multiple steals, including a pair that came in the Mystics' press before quickly setting up teammates for easy baskets. Her length, composure, and all-around skill set made for an impressive performance in her return to the court.     Lucy delivered a strong two-way performance for [program_tooltip program_id='714462' first='Michigan' last='Premier'] at the Tuesday Night Tune Up. The guard showed confidence from the perimeter, knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc and forcing defenses to respect her range. She also attacked the basket with toughness, finishing through contact for an impressive and-one opportunity. On the defensive end, Lucy was active and disruptive, using quick hands and anticipation to come away with multiple steals that helped spark her team's transition game. Her ability to contribute as both a scorer and defender made for an outstanding night on the floor.     Brooklyn provided a strong offensive spark for the Mystics at the Tuesday Night Tune Up. The wing stretched the defense by connecting on multiple three-pointers, showing confidence and consistency from beyond the arc. She also demonstrated her ability to create for others, attacking off the dribble before delivering a well-timed pass to a teammate in the post for an easy scoring opportunity. Brooklyn's ability to score from the perimeter while making smart reads with the ball in her hands made for a productive all-around performance.
