Elle was one of the top perimeter threats for Michigan Crossover at the Tuesday Night Tune Up. The guard is the type of shooter defenses have to respect the moment she crosses half court, as she consistently knocked down multiple three-pointers throughout the night. Her confidence and consistency from beyond the arc make her a constant scoring threat. Defensively, Elle’s basketball IQ was equally impressive. She was consistently in the right position, reading the action well and jumping passing lanes to create turnovers. It all added up to a terrific all-around performance and a great night on both ends of the floor.

Elle used her quick hands and feet to apply pressure that led to turnovers. She rotated quickly from the help-side to close driving lanes and stripped the ball away. Elle swished a rainbow triple from the corner in the first half and buried another smooth three in the slot to put Mercy ahead 35-34 with just over two minutes left in the fourth. She swiped an inbounds pass late and converted both free throws with confidence at the line to help ice the game.

Elle is a player I’d love to see at the Expo because of the poise and skill she shows on both ends of the floor. She handles the ball confidently in transition, keeping her head up and finding open teammates when the defense collapses. On offense, she has the kind of shooting touch that stretches the floor, especially from deep, and she understands how to move into space to create scoring chances. Defensively, her awareness stands out as she anticipates plays and disrupts passing lanes. With her blend of court vision, shooting, and instincts, Elle is the type of guard who could really shine in a showcase setting.

Elle had a very effective day for Michigan Crossover EYCL 16U at the LBI April Showers on Saturday. She pushed the ball with both hands in transition and made an excellent dump-off assist after causing the defender to commit to her dribble. Elle is a sharpshooter off the hop and drained multiple corner 3s. She moved well without the ball and scored after making a great backdoor cut. Elle has good instincts on defense, anticipating passes to generate steals.

Elle made waves on the travel circuit and looks ready to contribute heavily for the Marlins this winter. At Big Cat Fall League, she displayed sudden quickness to score multiple layups. Elle pushed the ball in transition and squared her shoulders to score a contested left-handed layup in traffic. Her accuracy from the perimeter makes her a dynamic offensive player.

Ellie is a versatile guard who has demonstrated her offensive abilities on the travel circuit and at summer team camps with the Marlins. Her length gives her an advantage to deflect passes on defense and shoot over defenders. Ellie is a knockdown 3-point shooter, finishes well at the basket, and will be a must-watch guard this winter with a talented Mercy team.
