Gabriella Evans   Evans is a do-it-all guard who brings a well-rounded skill set to the floor. A high-IQ player, she understands positioning, spacing, and how to operate effectively from the guard position.   Additionally, Evans plays comfortably without the basketball and moves naturally within the offense. She consistently finds open space and puts herself in position for quality scoring opportunities.   More importantly, Evans showed an impressive ability to adapt to the game and her surroundings. She reads what is happening around her and adjusts without forcing the action.   Physically, Evans is a tough scorer who does not shy away from contact. When opportunities develop, she can attack downhill and use her strength to finish around the basket. The DMV Showcase offered an early look at a 2030 class with plenty of talent across the Mid-Atlantic. However, these players showed more than individual skill.   They demonstrated awareness, versatility, toughness, and an understanding of how to impact winning. Those qualities should translate as they make the jump to high school basketball.
