They have two All-Conference returners and a handful of great role players. She is a 2029 with a lot of potential as a prospect. She is very quick and athletic and can score in bunches. She plays really hard and is a good teammate. Claire is really tough when she can get her feet set from behind the three-point line. If she sees one go through then you can see her confidence soar and she could be good for 3-4 makes that game. Paityn is a terrific athlete who is very physically strong. She is very difficult to keep away from the basket once she starts getting downhill to her strong hand. Her strength and body control allows her to finish though contact and get to the free-throw line. Knoke has caught the eyes of some regional coaches. She holds offers from NDSCS, Valley City State, and Waldorf. She is a long and lengthy athlete who plays the game the right way. She is a terrific defender and is the best returning rebounder for the Spartans. She is more than capable of scoring each night and can also space the floor from deep. Last season Haylie averaged 10.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sheyenne had a great season last year, barely missing out on the state tournament. That type of loss lingers and can be used as motivation to come back even stronger. She is a tough and gritty player who plays with an edge most high school athletes don't possess. She is very difficult to stop when she plays with confidence and conviction. She is excellent in the pick-and-roll and has high level vision with the rock. She is a streaky shooter but can affect the game in other ways than just scoring. The multi-year All-EDC selection should find herself on that list again in 2027. She was a key role player on last season's team and will be a main offensive option this year. Ella is a big-time talent and will have plenty of choices on where she wants to play college hoops. She is incredibly skilled and crafty and one of the hardest working players in the region. I predict Ella having an All-Conference season. Last year she averaged 5.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. She is a gritty player who doesn't care about personal accolades. All she cares about is competing and winning. She plays fantastic post defense and is really good at altering shots and defending without fouling. She is a physical presence and is a great rebounder. She keeps multiple possessions alive by crashing the offensive glass. Last season Adria averaged 4.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
