P2W MI Jam Live 3v3: Wings Bracket Terrific Six

These six prospects were consistent difference-makers during Pool Play and in the Wings Bracket Championship Tournament. I wanted to take a different approach than my usual process when doing an "All-Tournament Team" or "All-Showcase Team". Michigan Jam Live 3v3 was a different event, so I wanted to do something different by recognizing players from all different teams. I decided not to select more than one player from the same team in this "Terrific Six" article. I chose to add an additional player because there were more teams competing in the Wings Bracket. I will be doing many more write-ups of players who caught my attention throughout the day, so not being included in this list does not mean there weren't girls worthy of being selected to an all-event first team from the same team. I believe this method of selecting players from different teams captures the spirit of the event, which was to offer a unique experience, a fun format for all of the teams, and highlight key players from different high school programs. It seemed like every time I watched these six girls in games, they were stepping up to make impact plays for their team, which is why they have been selected as the Wings Bracket Terrific Six:   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/08/PXL_20260830_203705897.TS-000-e1788209712489.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1918469" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Michigan Jam Live 3v3, Wings Bracket Champions, Clarkston, Clarkston HS, Aug. 30, 2026.</figcaption></figure>    Katelyn played like she had her heart set on a Championship in the playoffs; she laid it all on the line for Oxford at Michigan Jam Live 3v3. Kate hustled to chase down a loose ball and fired a pass over the top to a teammate in the post for an assist. In the Wings Bracket Championship Game, Kate started the scoring with a drive-by layup for two points. She was constantly moving off the ball which resulted in multiple trips to the free throw line after basket cuts. Her impact as a facilitator stood out in the game. She penetrated off the dribble, kept her head up, and made the extra pass. Kate made a strong kickout pass to the corner for an assist on a corner three, and dished out two great dump-off passes on the move for assists. She buried a smooth wing three and made the hustle play of the day, jumping and crashing through chairs like Dennis Rodman to save a loose ball going out of bounds. Kate will be a great pickup for a college program, and she looks ready for a big senior year.     The cavalry is coming. Clarkston has an extremely talented group of freshmen joining the program, and they will be the pre-season favorite to win the OAA-Red. Alayna is a freshman prospect who will be an immediate contributor for the Wolves. She's consistently stood out at showcases and AAU tournaments over the past six months. Michigan Jam Live 3v3 was a different event with the same result. Alayna played a crucial role in Clarkston's success all day, and she continued to excel in the elimination tournament. Alayna drilled a straightaway three, knocked down a corner jumper, and secured rebounds. She attacked downhill with purpose and energized the team with a sweet inside-hand and-one finish. In the Championship Game, Alayna's complete two-way performance earned her the MVP Chain and helped Clarkston add sparkling rings to its trophy case. She converted contested layups efficiently with her off-hand, knocked down jumpers in the mid-range off the bounce, grabbed key offensive rebounds, swatted a shot away in the paint, and forced turnovers with her ball pressure. Alayna drove hard to the rim for a tough layup, slashed past defenders, and used a fake pass move to earn a trip to the line. She competed with relentless effort and is the Wings Bracket MVP.     Audrey led Chelsea with poise and was consistent from start to finish at Michigan Jam Live 3v3. She drove hard to the rim, used an excellent counter pivot to create enough space to release her shot, and dropped in a soft floater over the defender straight through the net off two feet. Audrey worked hard to apply pressure on the defensive end and poked the ball out with her quick hands. She showed her outside range, sinking a smooth straightaway three, and cut backdoor to score a nice catch-and-finish bucket. Chelsea has a young and talented team that will be very competitive this year. Audrey will be a key player to watch in the backcourt.     Fowlerville is another one of those programs that has an exciting future ahead. They have a great group of young, talented, and passionate basketball players in their program. Marissa was solid for the Gladiators throughout Michigan Jam Live 3v3. She muscled into position to secure rebounds on the offensive end and went up strong to score putbacks. Marissa converted catch-and-finish layups off two feet and drove to the rim with determination, using both hands to score a layup. She rotated to pick off a pass from the help side, demonstrated excellent footwork around the basket, and earned multiple trips to the line after driving hard to the basket. Marissa will be a matchup problem for opponents this winter.     Competing with non-stop energy, effort, and aggression is a great way to separate yourself on the court. Maci was one of the hardest workers in the gym, and her all-around impact caught my attention at Michigan Jam Live 3v3. I made a note of her aggressiveness, and her defensive pressure was relentless on the perimeter. Maci tied up the ball in the post, outworked the opponent to secure many offensive rebounds, made the extra pass, scored off backdoor cuts, and forced the defense to put her on the free-throw line. Maci knocked down open jumpers and made the right plays. Brighton has a solid core of returners with their upperclassmen and sophomore returners. They're going to be very competitive in the KLAA West and a tough team to beat.     Nia was a consistent playmaker and court general for Davison at Michigan Jam Live 3v3 from start to finish. She gave defenders problems as a slasher and a perimeter threat. Nia sank threes from the slot and the corner, split the gap to score a tough, contested layup with a veer finish, dropped in a contested floater, and finished straight-line drives efficiently at the rim with both hands throughout the day. Nia knocked down free throws and beat the help-side rotation for a drive-by layup with a soft finish off the glass. Davison has a talented combination of upperclassmen and young returners in their program that will make them a tough out this winter. Nia will be a key member of the Cardinals' backcourt.
