Nia is going to be a difference maker for Davision on both ends as a freshman and she’s been proving that for months at different events. Her quickness and tight handles create space to drive, pass, or shoot. Nia applies immense pressure on the ball defensively and penetrates gaps with a burst off the dribble. She helps teammates get open looks and will be a point guard to watch at the Headliners Invitational on Sunday.

Wilson is quick guard that can score in multiple different ways. She looks to attack downhill causing the defense to scramble and finds an open teammate. After knocking down a catch and shoot three, she’ll hit a defender with a pump fake for a smooth pull up jumper. On the defensive end, Wilson does a great job of getting in the passing lanes and using her quick hands to get a steal and push in transition to finish confident at the rim. She’ll be looking to make a big impact for this Davison team.

Nia was a sparkplug on both ends for Davison at the Swartz Creek Summer League on Tuesday. Her lateral pushout dribbles, inside-outs, and shifty crossovers created the space she needed to beat pressure. Nia split defenders with a dribble-burst to score a contested left-handed layup and jumped a hand-off for the steal, then took it the distance for two points. She stopped on a dime, froze the defender with a stutter, and drove by for the layup. Nia made a nice backdoor cut and evaded a defender with a euro-step to score the layup. She hustled to block a shot in transition after a turnover and energized the team with her defensive presence.
