2030 Rankings Update: Michigan's 6-10

The 2030 Class Rankings have finally hit the internet after months of evaluation by our scouts. After much deliberation and reflection, we have decided that these are the freshmen prospects we feel good about ranking right now. Based on current fundamental abilities, expected development by senior year, and height, length, athleticism, and size needed to play their projected position in college, these prospects all have a D1/D2+ or D2/D3+ rating heading into high school. The top two prospects each hold a D1 offer, which is why we chose to rank them first in this initial ranking. We ranked all 35 prospects based on multiple evaluations in different competitive environments. Every prospect who was ranked performed at a high level in front of our scouts against college-level talent, either at the PGH Freshman Showcase or at another showcase/AAU tournament in the past six months. What a prospect does or does not do against college-level talent matters when determining their college trajectory. There are prospects outside of the top 35 with the potential to break into the top ten, and movement is to be expected as observations and college offers increase over the years.   The Watch List includes prospects who have demonstrated college potential in front of our scouts at some point. There are high-level prospects we have not seen or have not seen enough to assign a ranking. The number of ranked prospects will increase every few months, and we are excited to see all of these girls make an immediate impact for their high school programs. Here are the girls we currently see as the top five 2030 prospects in Michigan. A thorough and detailed resource is linked below to explain everything you need to know about the rankings process. Remember,  the rankings are a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability. These are not lists of who the most productive or skilled high school players in the state are going to be or are right now.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2025/09/michigan-rankings-in-depth/">Rankings Explanation</a>    Ella was a consistent Top Performer with Mystics on the PGH Circuit and delivered a complete performance at the Freshman Showcase. She has the length, athleticism, instincts, and two-way playmaking abilities that project to the higher levels as a guard prospect. Ella is disruptive on the defensive end, an active rebounder, has the dribble burst to drive by defenders, and shows off her athleticism when finishing in traffic. Her defensive impact, smooth shooting mechanics, hustle, and high ceiling left an impression on PGH Ohio scout Angie Saiter. Those qualities, in addition to Ella's aggressive offensive rebounding, elusive ball-handling, and quickness, separated her as a top prospect in this class during the PGH College Tour at Northwood. She'll be an immediate impact player for East Lansing.     Kori came to the Freshman Showcase and delivered a knockout performance that secured her an MVP selection and confirmed her place as an elite point guard prospect in this class. Her intuition as a facilitator, strong passes, ability to create dribble penetration with quick bursts, sharp handles, aggressive rebounding, compact physical frame, defensive pressure, and presence as a three-point threat checked the boxes that project to the higher levels. Belleville is loaded at the PG position, but Kori has versatility, poise, and an advanced skill set that should give her opportunities to make an impact immediately.     Andie will be an immediate playmaker at DeWitt who complements their talented senior backcourt. Her length at the point guard spot, advanced fundamental skills, athleticism, effort, and dynamic talents have consistently impressed us at AAU tournaments, elite camps, and showcases for over a year. Andie has impressive ball-handling control, combination moves at her disposal, body control in the lane, and finishing dexterity at the rim. She's a pinpoint three-point shooter, precision passer, shot-alterer on defense, and persistent rebounder. Andie has a high ceiling and looks ready to terrorize the conference on day one.     Gwen has been one of the biggest stock risers in this class over the past six months leading up to the first rankings release. At the Big North Shootout during games for Portland in June, I found myself thinking Gwen could be one of the top prospects in this class. Then she took her game to an even higher level in a gym full of top prospects at the Freshman Showcase and confirmed those initial impressions. A 5-11 guard-wing who has the strength to play inside, has elite leaping/athleticism, has the skill needed to score at all three levels, and runs the floor as Gwen does, projects to the highest levels of the college game. She was in the zone at the Freshman Showcase, slashing and scoring at will around the basket, dominating the glass, defending space, and showing her perimeter range as a three-point shooter. Portland is adding an elite prospect to their lineup, and the Raiders are possibly the sneakiest contender flying under the radar entering the year.     Carmen came to the Freshman Showcase and delivered a lights-out performance that earned her recognition as an MVP. She's a multidimensional offensive player who can knock down shots from beyond the arc, slash to the hoop, score through contact, finish with touch using either hand, and facilitate with a high IQ. Carmen's anticipation, quickness, and instincts make her a difference-maker on the defensive end, resulting in steals and blocks. Carmen's comprehensive skill set and consistently impressive play at elite camps, showcases, and AAU tournaments earned her a top-ten spot. Expect Carmen to be in the running for an all-league year-one campaign at Ionia.
