The summer travel season, camps, and showcases provided players with plenty of opportunities to compete, develop, and make an impression. These players improved their games and at the same time, improved their status and strengthened their familiarity with college coaches and their position in their respective classes. In this article, we recognize these prospects who strengthened their reputation and got better.

[player_tooltip player_id='1003101' first='Gabrielle' last='Mallory'] made a lot of noise throughout the summer with a combination of size, power, and versatility. She is a big guard who can secure the ball and immediately push the break, creating opportunities in transition for herself and her teammates. Mallory uses her strength to score through contact inside, but her offensive game extended out to the midrange and even beyond the three-point line. She thrives in transition and brings a physical presence when attacking the basket. Her summer performances generated plenty of college attention, resulting in offers and growing interest. Mallory was one of the top performers in the 2028 class over the summer.

Sometimes it's about grit, not wine and cheese, and [player_tooltip player_id='934210' first='Kristyonna' last='Harris'] showed all summer that she was ready for the tough challenges. Defense has always been a calling card for Harris, and she consistently showed up with toughness, energy and a willingness to do the dirty work. What also stood out this summer and early fall was her growth on the other end of the floor. Harris is becoming more comfortable handling the ball, attacking off the dribble and stepping out to knock down shots from the perimeter. She continues to make strides offensively, adding more dimensions to her game that is built around defense and toughness. Harris came on the scene with a lot of grit, and now her expanding offensive game has the young forward on the rise.

Seeing Zo Bone play at the Freshman Showcase, it was clear that she is one of the standout players in the 2030 class. I first saw her at last year's Christmas tournament, where she stood out as a young leader. Last week, however, she showed even more growth. For a ninth grader, Bone plays with impressive maturity and carries herself like someone bigger than her age, height, and experience. She understands how to attack angles, uses a floater effectively, and consistently knocks down the three ball. No one had an answer for her. Bone is a true ball player who played well throughout the summer and established herself as one of the summer risers to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1379557' first='Brinkley' last='Todd'] has recently made her presence felt with steady, high-energy play that is the epitome of her game. The young point guard showed impressive command of the position, playing with composure, keeping teammates involved, and confidently taking advantage of scoring opportunities. Todd attacks open gaps off the catch, runs the floor well, and loves to get teammates involved. Her summer improvement carried into the early Fall, and the momentum continues to build. Her recent offer from Flagler College is another sign that her rise in production and impact is getting noticed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1318420' first='Zamora' last='Williams'] showed noticeable growth throughout the summer, and for a player still relatively new to the game, her progress was hard to miss. Williams increasingly looked comfortable competing against elite talent, using her athleticism and ability to run the floor to make an impact on both ends. She's not a three-point shooter as she illustrated during a three point contesgt, but the young center provided a presence around the basket with blocked shots and interior scoring. Williams is beginning to show a developing shooting touch away from the paint. There is still plenty of room for her game to grow, but that is what makes Williams such an intriguing young prospect. The tools are there, the development is evident, and her summer performance showed just how good she has the potential to become.

[player_tooltip player_id='1867066' first='Bella' last='Carbert'] just kept getting better throughout the summer and into the early fall. A quick and athletic guard, Carbert plays with great command on the floor and has stretches where she makes the game look effortless. She can handle the ball, pull up in the midrange in transition, attack the rim, and stretch the defense with the three. Carbert also competes on the defensive end, bringing toughness and athleticism that complement her game. At the recent Reps on Reps showcase, what stood out most was the continued progression in her game. As the summer went along, Carbert became more confident, more complete and increasingly difficult to contain—making her one of the young players whose rise was easy to see.
