Marlee has had a very good career for the Legacy Sabers and I have appreciated watching her journey. She chose to continue her college career at the University of South Dakota. Her game translates very nicely to the division one level. She is a lights out shooter from three and has a quick release. Her height and quick release will be deadly at the next level. She competes hard, plays defense, and is an excellent rebounder. Last season Marlee averaged 19.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.

Jordan is the real deal and is geared up for another great season as a Hawk. She has a state title under her belt and is going to be doing everything in her power to get her team back on top in 2027. Jordan is a North Dakota State University commit who plays with a tenacity that their program looks for in recruits. Her physical play and ability to compete sets her apart from many other players in the state. Jordan wants to win above anything else and her effort shows this. She should win Senior Athlete of the Year in the EDC. Last year she averaged 19.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.

The Jamestown Jimmies snagged one of the best two-way players in the state in Neshem. She is as competitive as they come and does everything to help her team win games. She has a really good first step that allows her to blow by defenders. Her handle is tight and her decisions are sharp. Addison is one of the best scorers in the state and was the top scorer in Class B at 20.6 points per game. Look for Neshem to lead the Bombers back to the state tournament this season.

Devils Lake will look very different in 2027-2028 without [player_tooltip player_id='933650' first='Tylie' last='Brodina'] in their starting lineup. She has been a varsity starter since her eighth grade season and has left quite the legacy as a Firebird. Brodina is a Minot State recruit and someone the Beavers have to be excited to work with. She will fit in great at the division two level and her game will translate nicely. Expect another great season from the Firebird star. Last season she averaged 19.1 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.9 steals per game.

Katie's physical presence near the basket is what separates her from other girls in the 2027 class. Very few girls in the state have the strength to compete with Katie in the post. Each season she has continued to improve her positioning when posting up and her efficiency when ducking-in. She establishes position deep in the paint where she can turn and use her strength to finish at the basket. She has a soft touch around the rim and is a menace at drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line. Katie is a two-time Class A Tournament MVP and led Valley City to back-to-back state titles. She is going to do everything in her power to have another deep post season run as a Hi-Liner.

Snyder is a prolific scorer for the Central McLean Cougars. She surpassed the 1500 career point mark last season which should set herself up to cross 2000 career points this season. As far as I know, Morgan is an uncommitted player. She would be a steal for any program at this point should she choose to continue playing hoops at the college level. I believe she is quick enough, shoots it well enough, and plays hard enough to play at the division two level. Central McLean had a fantastic season last year and have all of the pieces to find their way back to the Class B state tournament in 2027.

Routledge is as good as they get in the state of North Dakota. She is one of the most complete players we have seen in recent memory. She can defend multiple positions and is strong enough to battle in the post. She has a smooth shot and is mechanically sound. She is really difficult to stop going to the hoop and is skilled enough to finish in a variety of ways. What makes her special is her ability to pass the ball and get her teammates involved. The NDSU commit has been a lot of fun to watch and is my pick to win Miss Basketball in 2027.
