New Faces In New Places (2027 AAU Edition)

Everyone is trying to line up their rosters prior to the high school season beginning so that they don't have to panic and rush when that time comes around. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this article we are going to preview some hoopers that will be in new programs this upcoming season for AAU ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>(Please note: there is a lot of time between now and when the AAU Spring season will take place. They recently locked in one of their future GUAA Guards for next season in [player_tooltip player_id='1238790' first='Adrienne' last='Sears'] of Dowling Catholic High School. Sears is a Top 5 rated prospect out of her 2029 Class in Iowa. She played meaningful minutes last year for Dowling Catholic and she will return this Winter with even more responsibility on her plate. This is someone that could be a next level Guard, literally. She checks off a lot of boxes recruiters already have and she still has three more seasons to grow before she steps onto the collegiate floor. Murray Elite is another program that is on fire in the recruiting game as we look towards the future. This program is reaching out to a lot of the top talent in the Midwest and they are getting positive feedback so far. I'm not sure who else they will lock in but their younger groups are extremely skilled and knowledgeable within the game already so I'm sure that their high school program will follow suit. Joens has the chance to be a next level type hooper by the end of her career. She has the size and natural skill already but she is also very talented in other sports as well so I'm sure it will come down to what she wants to play at that next level eventually. Wright holds multiple D1 offers at this time with a lot of interest coming in as she steps into her Junior year at Mount Vernon. We are going to get to really see how well Wright can play over the next 2 years. She is going to have a lot of the workload now that the Franck sisters have graduated and she is ready to show everyone watching that she is ready for that challenge. Wright has been very good over her first two years at the Varsity level but I think there is still some un-tapped potential here. [player_tooltip player_id='643486' first='Jhaliana' last='Guy'] has been a standout with her Mac Irvin Fire program out of Chicago the last couple of seasons and now she is looking to test her skills against some of the best Adidas ballers across the Country until she moves into the college ranks. Guy is rated as a Top 20 ESPNW 2028 for a reason. Crazy athletic player with a ton of potential upside still as she moves into her Junior season at Clinton High School. Clark, the 5'10 CG, has done a good job handling her own work load of the years. She has always stepped up to be the top producer when she is the big dawg on her team and we are going to see how far she can take that over the next couple of months. Carlisle High School losses a lot coming off of their 4A State Title. Clark will be looked upon to carry the work load on both ends of the floor.
