Oklahoma’s Top 250 Expo Guards to WATCH

Listed at guards that impressed me enough to put a check by their names to see how they perform this season. Several will need to step up scoring or just gain experience. Good handles that can control the tempo while keeping space. The 3 point shot has range and nice form. Shooter that you may have to go over the top as she can shoot on top of the screen. Showed a nice quick step jumper.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A guard that had a very solid performance in the game I watched guessing the numbers were in double digits. Smart IQ guard that is one to watch as Dale moves up to 3a this season. Long lefty guard that has a quick release on the catch and shoot. Attacks the rim when got run off the 3 point line getting to the paint, collapsing the defense. Nice running floater or kick out to the shooter. Scrappy defender that did not mind getting the mix for a loose ball or rebound.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"anchor":"acf-block-6aa8aee5eb666"} --> <p id="acf-block-6aa8aee5eb666">Guard is also coming off a very productive summer where she had games with 5 plus made 3-pointers. The shooting ability should also open up lanes for Holland Hall point guard. Guard to watch this form what I saw this Sunday. Shooter that has a green light and confidence in her shooting. Impressive was the decision she made on the break. Pushed as far as she could then slowed down, not forcing the issue. Another time on the break she threw a half court pass on the dime to the rim runner. Nice footwork on the shot, good 1-2 into it with a picture perfect follow through on the release. Movement off the ball was good keeping proper spacing and repositioning for the kickouts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"anchor":"acf-block-6aab57689e446"} --> <p id="acf-block-6aab57689e446">First time seeing Sara play and you can see the game she brings to the court. Made good decisions on the drive going through the 3 reads. Floaters, layups, and kick out for the shooter on the wing. Good hesi pocket dribble with a change of speed that allowed her to get to the rim this past Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The combo guard comes into play with her long shooting range. Brings a complete game with the outside shot and good pump fake 1-2 into a mid-range jumper. Scrappy defender that competes for loose balls and jumps the passing lanes for steals. A 2029 with great height for a combo guard that will gain attention this season. Shooting guard that can handle the ball. Used a quick low and tight double crossovers to get her defender leaning to get back at them attacking the rim. Catch and shoot guard that relocated on the ball movement to find the open spot. At times attacked the gap and finished with a nice slide step for the bucket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Long arms created many on ball deflections and off the ball deflections. Hustled on the fast breaks as well as transition defense to make a play on a layup. A sophomore that will get playing time if not earning a starting spot.
