PGH Carolinas Expo Preview: 2028s Ready to be Great

This upcoming weekend, the spotlight will be on prospects from the sophomore, junior and senior classes.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rock Hill Sports and Events Center will once again be the focal point for the hoops universe of the Carolinas as it will be the site of the Prep Girls Hoops Carolinas Expo. Reynolds competed in 26 of the Warriors' 29 games last season while averaging 12.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and three steals per game. Hayward guided last season's Eagles to a 4A Lower State semifinal and Beaufort is poised to once again be a state contender in 2026-27. Hayward played in all 26 of the Eagles' matchups last season while averaging 20 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 3.2 assists per game. She was also one of three team co-captains for Beaufort last season. Following a pair of seasons where Gilbert competed in the 4A ranks, Price and her Gilbert team will move back to the 3A ranks. Price competed in 21 of Gilbert's 23 contests last season while averaging 15 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 1.5 assists per game. Salmon played up in class throughout the spring and summer with BBB Elite 17U. She was part of a Rebels team that finished 24-4 throughout the 2025-26 season. Salmon played in 27 of Byrnes' 28 games last season while averaging eight points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
