PGH Carolinas Freshman Showcase: Team Five Was Impressive

This dynamic guard was everywhere on the court making play after play. She led her team as a floor general on both sides of the ball. Eva found ways to score whether it was knocking down jumpers from the perimeter or making flashy crossover and hesitation dribbles moves to the rim. Kaleigh had a sick up and under move that caught many defenders by surprise. Her explosiveness to the rim off the dribble on her moves was impressive. She was active and quick off her feet around the rim on offense and defense. Avery did a little bit of everything and did it well. She was always around the ball making plays for her team. She came up with timely deflections and steals on defense and on offense she would make the winning play by knowing the game and having a great IQ. Cordon has a ton of upside and would go in spurts where she would completely take the game over. She is crafty enough with her maneuvers and strength to finish through contact. Her midrange game is also on point and she can stop on a dime and elevate up and over her defender. She has a quick and aggressive first step especially going left. She also does a good job of creating for her teammates with her passing ability. She is a solid fundamental guard that has a nice pull jumper and she can also attack the basket. She prefers to go left which is her dominate hand but she can use either hand. She sees the floor well and does a good job of knowing which pass to make to her teammates.
