<p>Tomorrow, the latest edition of the Expo takes place in Appleton. Today, we will look at a handful of players for coaches to consider if they make the trip to the Champions Center. There will be plenty of talented kids in the 2027-29 classes, and I'd like to give some college coaches some players to see tomorrow morning and afternoon. That said, let's talk about some players who could stand out amongst the older kids at The Expo.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The Seymour native has improved over the past year and found ways to be more effective each time she steps on the floor. Rudnick was an excellent perimeter defender last season and showed an edge on that side of the ball. I thought she developed her perimeter jumper and was a reliable threat from behind the arc last spring and summer. I like how much better she's gotten over the last 12 months, and am eager to see what she looks like in this setting.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">I was impressed by Butts' performance this summer down in Louisville. The 5-11 wing also has the athletic and physical tools to be an impact defender. I also liked her ability to score around the basket offensively and use her length to score over players around the rim. She has versatility on both sides of the ball and will catch coaches' attention this winter.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">McGowan missed her first season of high school basketball with a knee injury, but impressed throughout the spring and summer. She is an excellent perimeter defender and has a knack for making plays on the ball. The Pius guard will frustrate opposing guards at the point of attack, generate live-ball turnovers, and help her team earn transition opportunities. She can set the tone defensively and be one of the better perimeter defenders this winter. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The Eau Claire native is one of the more well-rounded athletes in the 2029 class. Gardow is a talented two-guard who can score 20 points in any given game and put the ball in the basket from all three levels. She also has the skill set to play off a lead guard who wants to get downhill and draw in defenders. Gardow is at her best when she can hunt her shots with the ball in her hands, and she has the physicality to power through contact and finish around the rim against larger defenders. She is a multi-sport talent who will thrive at the high school level.</p>
