The Expo: 2029 Players I Hope Make the Trip

The Expo is set for this Saturday at MSA Fieldhouse in Grand Rapids, bringing plenty of talent together under one roof. As the event gets closer, there are still more players I'd love to see make the trip, including a talented group from the 2029 class. I've had a chance to see each of these players at different points, and I'd love another opportunity to watch them compete. Here are some 2029 prospects I'm hoping to see in the gym at The Expo. I recently watched her at the Mystics Open Run, where her ability to score in different ways caught my attention. She showed confidence from behind the arc, but she isn't limited to being a perimeter shooter. Evelyn can attack the basket, finish through contact, and use moves like a step-through to create scoring opportunities. She also showed good feel as a passer, especially in transition. I'd love to see how her versatile offensive game translates against the talent that will be on the floor at The Expo.     Kamara is a 2029 guard I'd love to see make the trip to The Expo. She brings an intriguing combination of length, athleticism, and skill to the guard position. Kamara can knock down the three, attack off the dribble, and finish in traffic, while also having the handle and vision to create opportunities for others. Her ability to contribute on the defensive end adds to her game as well. With the versatility she brings to the floor, Kamara is definitely a player I'd like to get eyes on at The Expo.     Karsyn is a 2029 center from Cass City who I'd love to get my first look at during The Expo. At 6-foot-2, she brings great size to the interior and has already earned recognition for her play at the high school level. What makes Karsyn especially intriguing is that she appears to bring more than just size, with the ability to impact the game on the glass, defensively, and as a facilitator. She is a young post prospect I've been wanting to get eyes on, and The Expo would be a great opportunity to see her compete in person.     Mallory is a 2029 point guard I'd love to see at The Expo. I watched her at the Mitten Summer Showdown, where I liked the poise and control she showed running the offense. She plays with her head up, pushes the pace in transition, and has the court vision to create opportunities for her teammates. Mallory also showed she can create off the dribble and make defenses respect her from behind the arc. I'd love to see her in the gym Saturday and watch how she handles the competition and talent The Expo will bring together.     Cassa is a 2029 wing I'd love to get my first look at during The Expo. Her combination of length, athleticism, and versatility has me intrigued, especially with the different ways she can impact the game offensively. She can stretch the floor from behind the arc, attack off the dribble, finish around the basket, and move well without the ball. Cassa also brings defensive tools with her ability to pressure the ball and use her length to create deflections. She sounds like a player who can affect the game in several areas, and I'd love the opportunity to see it firsthand at The Expo.
