The second group of transfers is made up of players who I think have the potential to be breakout players for their respective squads. I have seen these kids play this Spring and Summer and really feel they could become major contributors in their new homes. These are very skilled players who will have the chance to continue playing after high school in college. Before that, they should help lead their teams to success in the regular season.

Prior to the PGH Georgia Sophomore ID Camp I had no idea who Ari who was. After seeing her compete there and at the [program_tooltip program_id='713173' first='Wood' last='Elite'] Top 50 Earned Not Given showcase, I have no doubt that Ari is ready for a breakout season with North Paulding. At a few millimeters below 6', McElrath has the size, athleticism, and skill to play multiple positions on the court and create mismatches on the offensive end. North Paulding is loaded with talent, but Ari should not have a hard time finding minutes on the court. When she does, I expect her to impact the game in a big way offensively, defensively, and rebounding the basketball. She has the potential to be a division one player no doubt.

Boynton left a very talented team in Sandy Creek, played with another (Starrs Mill) this June before a coaching change, and has finally settled at Fayette County for her sophomore season. She will join a very young team that according to MaxPreps did not win a game last season. Boynton was impressive with Starrs Mill during the Live Period at Lakepoint in June. She was even better at the PGH Georgia Sophomore ID camp. She is a talented slasher who other teams had a hard time defending. Yogi was poised on the ball and got to the rim a lot where she did a nice job finishing. Always under control, Yogi weaved her way in and out of traffic routinely before making the right play. She is a good shooter from the perimeter as well. Do not be surprised if she has Fayette County at .500 or better by the end of the season. I think she can have that big of an impact.

Landrew is an excellent two-way guard who I saw a lot of this Spring with Team Elite Hubbard. She is a skilled player on the offensive end and an intense competitor defensively. This move somehow slipped under my radar, because I think she has the potential to get Campbell even further in the state playoffs this year. She will bring more toughness to an already physical group featuring her Hubbard teammates Aleigha and [player_tooltip player_id='1056229' first='Gabrielle' last='Parish']. with an established point guard in [player_tooltip player_id='894151' first='Ariel' last='Brown'], Cailyn should occupy one of the other wing spots giving Campbell one of the more talented rosters in the state. Landrew currently holds offers from North Florida, Northern Kentucky, American, North Carolina A&T, Georgia State, Stony Brook, Delaware State, UMBC, and Winthrop University. Her addition gives Campbell a legitimate shot at winning a title in February.

Following her coach Jan Azar to Gainesville, Walker will get a fresh start as the face and leader of the program. After being surrounded by high D1 talent with Hebron last season and [program_tooltip program_id='1237402' first='HER' last='Elite'] this Summer, Walker will have all eyes on her as she, along with Azar, try to lead this young team to early success. Walker is one of the best point guards in the state already, regardless of class. She is ultra-skilled and quicker than the water bugs we have in our Georgia waterways. She is elite handling the ball and almost impossible for defenders to stay in front of. Where I think Saige's game will change with this move is her opportunity to score the basketball more. She has spent the last year feeding the likes of [player_tooltip player_id='991134' first='Carib' last='Morris'], Gabby Minus, and other future P4 players. Saige has the ability to score at all three levels, and her new team is going to need her to do that if they want to be playing late in February.

I saw Savannah at the opening travel ball tournament of the season with [program_tooltip program_id='1250230' first='Winners' last='United'] along with my colleague Shayla Smith. We both came away very impressed with the Sophomore post. She gives North Oconee more of what they lacked last season which was scoring on the interior. The Lady Titans always have a skilled group of guards, but Hoagland gives them a threat to score consistently in the paint. She should partner very well with [player_tooltip player_id='1314819' first='Kallie' last='Mashburn'] in the frontcourt, who does everything very well. The duo, along with wing Leah Pollock and [player_tooltip player_id='968150' first='Kenzie' last='Johnson'], should have North Oconee in the Top Ten in AAAA all season long. With continued development, there is no question savannah will play in college. She is already very skilled on the offensive end.

After a very good stint playing at private George Walton Academy, Kenzie returns home to North Oconee for what could be a huge senior season. The sharpshooting wing can flat out put the ball in the basket, and I expect her to do a lot of that in her final campaign. She has very good size and sneaky athleticism. Johnson can get to the rim in the halfcourt and score and has gotten easy points in transition each time I have seen her play. She has chance to lead the team in scoring and give them a chance to keep playing in mid-February. She should be on the radar of NAIA, D3, and D2 schools in the state.
