The former Dominican guard could help the Black Hawks' backcourt. Grafton faces a challenging road to the state tournament with former D3 powerhouses in their sectional. In the postseason, talented backcourts make a difference, and Mlada could help take the Black Hawks' backcourt over the top. She's a smart player who won't force anything and takes care of the ball, and in a one-game playoff format, that could be the difference they need to win games on the margins.

The most notable transfer went about five miles across town. The 6-5 post from Eau Claire is now at Memorial after playing one season at Eau Claire Regis. She has the mobility you won't find in many players her size and is willing to use her physicality around the basket. She has room to grow as a player and develop into an impressive post prospect, but there isn't another player in our state with the physical tools Borcherding has to work with.
