Expert Analysis

Brady Peterson

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

The former Deerfield guard will play her sophomore season at DeForest. Drobac is an undersized guard who can handle the ball under pressure, knock down shots, and be a pest defensively. She had an excellent first season at Deerfield, helping win another conference title, and looked comfortable playing against quality opposition. She will also play with another solid post player, and she has shown she can make entry passes and help her post and her team get simple looks around the rim.

The Deerfield guard helped create open looks almost every time down the floor in the first half of the game I saw Drobac play. She sees the floor well and seems to enjoy getting her teammates open shots whenever possible. Drobac helped her team get out to an early lead and nearly helped her group earn a comeback win in the second half of that game I watched. She can help make any group she plays for reach another level because she’s on the floor.
