Last week, I attended the first day of Fall League after missing the first two weeks. Every year, Fall League signals that the high school season is almost here, and talented programs from around the state come to play at Pewaukee High School. After procrastinating for the last week and wanting to highlight a few impressive performers at Fall League, we're finally looking at those players almost a week after I was there. Let's finally highlight them.

The best player in the gym on Sunday was the KML guard, which isn't much of a surprise. However, I was more impressed with how comfortable she looked. The Chargers have a team that's been around a while and knows what they're doing on both ends. However, Luehring was in midseason form physically. She wasn't shy about attacking the basket, and took some hard hits in the paint. Each time, she didn't look bothered and kept pressuring the rim.

The Waunakee guard will play alongside a player a lot like her in her first season of high school basketball. The Waunakee guard will play alongside a player a lot like her in her first season of high school basketball. Porter is an athletic kid who looked quick against girls four years older than her, and that's a positive sign as they head into the season where they will have an uphill battle to reach the latter stages of the postseason. Porter is another dynamic two-way player with a motor that can help swing games for the Warriors.
