At her best, Peterson is a player who her team can play through and expect good things to happen. She will be an intriguing small-school prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->

The Hartford native could play a crucial role for a Hartford team looking to get back to the State Tournament. Her physicality around the basket can set the tone, and at her best, she can be a double-double threat against quality competition. I also think her touch is better around the basket and can be a reliable paint scorer. She has the physical tools to be a handful for any opposing defense, and I'm eager to see how she looks with the talented backcourt the Orioles roll out.

Schmidt is sneakily one of the best scoring guards who aren't from the traditional power schools. The Burlington native is a skilled player who can score from all three levels and score in bunches when she gets into a rhythm. As a player who has to be the first name on opposing scouting reports, she works away from the ball to get open looks or create her shot off the dribble.
