Rowan made a name for herself throughout her eighth-grade campaign last season with a Stallions team that was a 4A Upper State finalist. She competed in 28 contests last season for South Pointe while averaging nine points, 2.1 steals, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Rowan was the only middle schooler on last season's Stallions team. She also already has a BlueStar 30 invitation on her ever-growing résumé and has plenty of travel ball in her future as a 2030.

During the offseason, Gipson already made news by being one of the signature movers and shakers of transfer season. Gipson was another that made the move to AEBL after wearing a [program_tooltip program_id='1238252' first='Twelve' last='Time'] uniform. She may only be an eighth grader but she already has a collegiate offer on her résumé courtesy of Newberry and coach Johnette Walker. Gipson guided last season's Falcons to a semifinal appearance in last season's SCISA 4A playoffs. She averaged 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.4 steals per matchup.

A collaboration has taken place between FBC United and FBC Reign. As a result, Pojani was welcomed to FBC United for her final season of grassroots ball. Pojani led her First Baptist team to a SCISA 4A state championship last season and has been fielding collegiate offer after collegiate offer ever since. The latest one she received was courtesy of Coastal Carolina in late September. The Hurricanes will once again present one of the more dangerous backcourts of any team in South Carolina – private or public school. Pojani averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists last season. First Baptist will commence its defense of its SCISA 4A championship on Nov. 19 at the Battle of the Lowcountry against 5A James Island.

Pierotti is another that is set to be on a new AAU team because of a collaboration. Carolina Hornets United recently announced a partnership with Team CP3 – meaning Pierotti will run with CP3 Hornets on the Jr. EYBL circuit. Before that happens, Pierotti has the upcoming school ball season with 4A Riverside on the brains. Pierotti was part of a young Warriors team last season and played in 24 games throughout the 2025-26 campaign at Riverside. She averaged 7.3 points and one rebound per game. Pierotti will be part of a Warriors team returning to the 4A ranks after a pair of seasons as a 5A Division 2 assembling.

While the club playing days of the Palmetto State's senior class may be in the rear-view mirror, those who have yet to become seniors still have at least one more spring and summer of AAU basketball on the horizon.

Just as there is intrigue about prospects potentially changing their high schools from season to season, the same applies with noteworthy names playing in a different uniform once school ball concludes.

Lately, there have been a number of developments in terms of grassroots ball involving some of the best and brightest South Carolina has to offer. This could either be because of teams merging or a prospect deciding to simply play for another team.
