[player_tooltip player_id='537932' first='Camdyn' last='Crouse'] of Ottumwa High School has put up some respectable numbers over her high school career at the PG position and she is looking to build on that moving into her Senior season. Crouse thrives on the hardwood because of her mixture of coordination, knowledge of the game, and her ability to finish at the rim in a plethora of different ways. A majority o the time, Crouse is beating the defense off the dribble and getting all the way to the bucket for a finish in some sort of way. If not, she is solid at setting others up around her and hitting them with an open pass while going toward the rim. There is no reason that Crouse shouldn't put together another great season of high school ball. If she stays locked in, the rest will be history before you know it.

This is the third or fourth time I've mentioned [player_tooltip player_id='842594' first='Maddie' last='Weston'] of Nodaway Valley over the past couple of years and for good reason. Weston will compete at the Guard position once again for her Senior season with the Wolverines and she is primed to have the best season of her high school career to-date. Why is that you might ask? This team is in a situation where most of the time they will compete against smaller schools and they have a collegiate level prospect in Junior, [player_tooltip player_id='510277' first='Izzy' last='Eisbach']. So most teams will have to focus their efforts on stopping her and everyone else should thrive because of that. I'm assuming most teams will try some sort of zone, which in that case, Weston can do a fantastic job of stepping up and knocking down some shots from all over the floor, depending where she is stationed and what is happening around her. The Wolverines could make a run this season so keep an eye on them. It'll be a team effort and everyone is okay with that. Which speaks to their philosophy as a whole.

This is the high school season that [player_tooltip player_id='882728' first='Grace' last='Albertsen'] of Harlan Community High School steps up and takes a big stride in her overall play-style on the Varsity floor. Albertsen is a 6'1 Forward, that stands over most that matchup against her. Last Winter for the Cyclones, Albertsen came off the bench and did some good things with her time on the floor but this Winter, that all changes. I'm sure Albertsen is going to start while they gradate three starters from a year ago, so she is going to have plenty of changes to make her presence known of both sides of the ball. I'd love to see her standout defensively being their rim protector but we will find out early on in the year what her role will actually be. If she can figure it out early and play to her strengths, I'm sure she will have some solid numbers for her Senior year.

Liberty High School returns to a questionable situation this Winter but what won't be questionable is the amount of skilled prospects that they will have on their Varsity Roster. This group will not only be skilled, they will be deep at most positions across the floor. Someone that could make a big impact throughout the course of the next six months for this team is SG, [player_tooltip player_id='766453' first='Janessa' last='Mosley']. Following a successful AAU season with her Missouri Phaeton 17U - Iowa hub team, Mosley committed to Kirkwood to continue on her basketball journey. I love this commitment for a few reasons but mainly because Mosley is a solid prospect, who could grow into an important piece at a 4 year University on the hardwood before everything comes to an end. If she stays motivated moving forward, how she has been up until this point in her career, I'm sure her success will continue into the college levels.

No matter what court [player_tooltip player_id='896455' first='Addy' last='Tupa'] is competing on, she is a prospect that seems to always make a difference in one way or another. At the SG position, she is solid in the acts of shooting the ball but she can also Rebound at a high rate and Assists others better than most. Tupa and her CPU Pointers team are going to return this Winter with some vengeance on their mind. Over the past few years, they have put together some great years but they would love to make this the best so far. They have the talent, they have the coaching, they just need everything to fall into place and they will be looking at making another big State Run come early 2025.
