Senior Addy Tupa Addy Tupa 5'7" | SG Center Point-Urbana | 2025 IA is a disciplined, well-rounded guard and was one of my favorite players on the court last night. Her poise and court vision brought a sense of calm to the CPU offense — any time the ball was in her hands, I felt like something good was going to happen. Tupa has good footwork around the rim and seeks out contact, a smooth shot from deep, and has the motor to play big minutes. I think Tupa’s defense is another strong suit as well — she moves laterally with ease and has a long reach to pester ball handlers. In the fourth quarter Tupa matched up on W-SR’s best player, drew two defenders and hit a skip pass for an open three, and then hit a defender with a jab step and drained a three all in crunch time. You can’t ask for much more from a senior leader.

At the SG position, she is solid in the acts of shooting the ball but she can also Rebound at a high rate and Assists others better than most. Tupa and her CPU Pointers team are going to return this Winter with some vengeance on their mind. Over the past few years, they have put together some great years but they would love to make this the best so far. They have the talent, they have the coaching, they just need everything to fall into place and they will be looking at making another big State Run come early 2025.
