She excels as a facilitator from the forward position, operating effectively at the free-throw line area and finding open teammates. Crooks plays well with her back to the basket, while also contributing with a mid-range game. Her versatility, quickness at the four position, and unselfish play allow her to impact the game in multiple ways, making her a valuable and versatile piece to someone’s team.

Her willingness to score inside forced defensive attention and opened space for shooters. Crooks is an excellent passer and has some of the best talent around her. In addition to the production, Crooks brought the power and a competitive edge and wasn’t afraid to mix it up with opposing power forwards.

Crooks had the offense running through her and seeing her take other forwards to the rim really showcased her versatility. She converted several “and-ones” and showcased her passing skills. With shooters all around her, Crooks might end the season with the most rebounds and most assists. She is work horse on the court and has an ability bro impact the game with scoring a point. Her toughness was on full display and college coaches were in the building.

She can catch the ball in the low post and get to her spot, or receive it at the elbow and either find her shot or set up an open teammate. Crooks is one of the better passing forwards, with the vision to pass her teammates open and the ability to read the floor in multiple ways.

She played on a State Championship team and her team was so good that you could miss out on what Crook’s abilities were, but when you pull out the tape, you can see how consistently good and versatile Crooks is on the floor. She can grab a rebound and take it all the way and finish, sometimes with a defender hanging all over her. She has a nice pull-up jumper, and she can handle the ball from the forward position. Crooks has the “respect” as teams know that she is a baller who can do a little of everything on the floor and with force and consistency.

Seanna had a great benefit of playing with 3 Division 1 guards this school year, and the same thing should be the case this summer. College coaches want to see how you can contribute and stand out when playing with and against the best talent. She will be in a situation that will have her matched up against some of the best, so there will be eyes on her where she can show off her strength, body control, and solid footwork in the post.

She also won a State Championship and played primarily at the four and five. Crooks has the ability to play the three as well and has good ball handling skills to play on the wing. Crooks had the ability to play inside against physical play, but can also face the basket and pull up in the short mid-range area. What sets Crooks apart from a lot of threes and fours is her ability to rebound strong and then take it up the court herself and do something with it. She is a very good transition player who can fill the lane or take it to the basket herself.

Throughout the season, Crooks ran the floor well and showed a lot of versatility to her game. She has an inside game, she can pull-up in the midrange area, and she is a power forward who scan run the floor and get buckets in the transition game. Crooks showcased other aspects of her game, including the ability to grab the rebound and go. She has the ability to lead the break and can create plays for herself and others with the ball in her hands.

Crooks has been impressive and consistently good all season long. She does it all. She rebounds well, scores on the inside, and can run the floor and score. She has the ability to make difficult plays look routine. Crooks could “steal” the show and be the X-Factor in the Final Four.
