Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
In a clash between the top two teams in 1A — and both ranked in the top 25 statewide — Grandview Prep has the skill and firepower to take on a scrappy, smart Schoolhouse Prep team while defending last year’s title. With Schoolhouse returning their best player, Grandview will need an extra spark, and Jada has the poise and maturity as a freshman to provide it. To be the difference maker, she’ll need to stay composed, grab timely rebounds, knock down open looks, and bring consistent energy, effort, and hustle to help the Pride prevail.

Jada comes in at No. 17 and is in an excellent situation at Grandview where strong coaching and daily competition accelerate her development. She plays meaningful minutes alongside upperclassmen bound for Division I basketball and faces that same level of talent in practice, which shows in her poise and comfort during games. Jada understands her role, impacts winning without forcing the action, and brings good size and frame for her class. She plays with advanced guard IQ, picks defenses apart with her passing, and scores efficiently at all three levels with deep range and a quick release. Her ability to stay under control, create space, and finish with touch around the rim makes her a tough cover. Jada consistently brings energy, knocks down shots from deep, and stands out as a reliable and impactful guard in this 2029 class.

was a technician with the ball in her hands, picking the defense apart with her next-level PG IQ. Her ability to look defenders off and pass her teammates open was far ahead of her peers—it was clear she puts in the work and studies the game. She also scored efficiently at all three levels, playing under control and on balance at all times. Jada’s ability to stay low with the ball and quickly get into her shooting motion allowed her to create shots with ease. Around the rim, her hang time, pace, and ability to finish off one or two legs with runners and floaters made it nearly impossible for defenders to react in time. She definitely stood out as one of the breakout stars of the showcase.
