Freshman off to a fast start!

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are a couple of weeks into the 2024-25 season in Ohio, and it isn't surprising that several 2028 freshman around Ohio are off to a fast start with their teams. She is averaging 21.2 points per game, which is the unofficial leader in Ohio for her class. Lacie is a strong solid player who can do a good job on the boards. Active and plays the game with a good basketball IQ. Abbi scored 30 in her varsity debut on opening night in a one-point loss to regional finalist Mississinawa Valley. She also had 23 the other night in a big win over Tecumseh. Abbi is a 6-foot guard who can score inside or out, drop the three or get to the rim with ease and finish. Great court vision! She is able to get downhill well and finish at the rim, can play the game fast and push transition from the point spot. Great body control getting to the rim, really long and lengthy on the boards. Plays way above her years, active and athletic. Able to create with the ball, moves well without it. Janiyah is difficult to contain on the court, especially playing alongside fellow D1 recruit [player_tooltip player_id='537681' first='Kaylah' last='Thornton']. Hargrave is sitting just under 18 per game as her team is off to a fast start. Marley is averaging 17 points per game in the early going. She has active hands on defense and forces mistakes, giving her easy looks at the rim, and is able to anticipate the game well.
