A stingy guard who can cause turnovers. She is speedy, plays with a ball of energy, and her ability to force the opposition into unfavorable areas on the floor allows her teammates to capitalize on their opponent’s mistakes. She has quick hands and feet, knows when to strike, and she has fast-twitching hips that enable her to stay in front of her opponent. She causes havoc anytime she is on the floor, especially when she is in the backcourt pressing. A talented kid who is one who uplifts her ballclub.

Heading PG who competes on both ends of the floor. She is a downhill threat who can score the rock with ease or kick it to a teammate with a shot advantage. She’s a gamer who plays relentless defense, causing havoc for the other team. Look for her to be the captain for this squad and help lead them towards state contention. When she is on the floor, good things tend to happen in the Lady Firebirds’ favor. A tough kid who is going to give you 100% every time she steps onto the floor.

Sophomore and teammate of Hailey, Myah Knowles Myah Knowles 5'6" | PG Pearl-Cohn | 2028 State TN should also be in for a big year at Pearl-Cohn High School as well.

Last season, Knowles, in her freshman season, averaged 7.3 points per game. She already looks on track to post a higher points per game average in the 2025-2026 season. Against White County High School on Nov.21, she had 16 points. Knowles, in this game, demonstrated a great ability to create separation off the dribble. With this space, she made a couple of threes on the day.

Knowles is also a high-level guard defender. Her above-average speed allows her to stay in front of defenders with ease. On Nov. 25 of this year, she displayed her defensive prowess by notching a total of five steals in a game against Watertown High School.

Pure hooper. Someone who prides themselves on making their opponents’ life miserable. MK is more than OK. She’s legit. A dynamic guard who can score on all three levels and turn around and defend like crazy. She’s a speedster that has very quick hands and feet. She can slash through gaps to get to the rim, but her break and butter really is on the defensive end. Steals and deflections is her MO and getting easy transition buckets is what she does best. Sensational ballplayer who is tough as all get out.
