Against Independence High School on day one of the Hoop Fest, sophomore Rileigh Miller Rileigh Miller 5'10" | SF/PF Pearl-Cohn | 2028 State TN balled out.

Miller showed off her versatility as a player, helping create turnovers on the defensive end against Independence High School. This defense from her and her Pearl Cohn teammates led to them getting a big advantage. In the first half, they led the Lady Eagles 37-10.

Miller’s shooting prowess was seen in half-court sets during this dominant scoring run. She made four threes in the first half from all around the perimeter. Her height and confidence are two traits that go into her being a great perimeter shooter.

Rileigh Miller Rileigh Miller 5'10" | SF/PF Pearl-Cohn | 2028 State TN showed in her freshman season that she is an elite shooter. She has a high release point on her jumper that allows her to get her shot off against almost every defender that stands in her way. Along with this she is an unconscious shooter. If she sees one go down it does not matter where she is on the court. She can pull up and knock a shot from distance down. There was multiple games where she made two or more threes in her first season at Pearl-Cohn.

On the defensive side, she uses her 5’10’ lanky frame well. Every time she steps on the court, she is a threat to grab a steal. And she is good at heavily contesting shots consistently.
