While Chambers can be a point guard first, that doesn't mean the junior can't fill it up as well. This week, she cleared 1000 points for her high school career, and is averaging over 20 points a game this season. She even rebounds well for a guard, being a regular double double threat. Viewings of her with her AAU team painted a picture of a traditional, team first point guard. So it's good to see she has a killer scoring instinct while playing for her 8-5 Hulbert squad.

Versatile forward, who must be accounted for in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. She's produced all year long thanks to that shooting ability and tenacity. In a win on Tuesday, she poured in 27 points, while also grabbing 11 boards vs Tulsa Memorial. That brought Pryor to 11-4 on the year and into a tie for second in District 4. Now the Lady Tigers will host their own tournament, a chance for more hardware and momentum as they battle to host a 5A Regional.

Miller has made the jump from small school basketball, to Class 6A. Which features a lot of travel for the western Oklahoma based squad. She's proven her high motor, versatile way can translate at Oklahoma's high level classification with regular double doubles. Including a 23 point and 12 rebound vs Sapulpa and 16 point and 6 rebound performance vs Broken Arrow. Those came in losses, but she got a busy week started off right with another double double on Tuesday. This time it was 21 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Sand Springs. Miller will continue her assault on the glass at the Purcell, Heart of Oklahoma Tournament.

Ardmore recently went on the road and earned a big win over top 5 Class 3A squad Anadarko. In that win, senior guard McGee led the way with 21 points. McGee was a multi level scorer in that win, pull up threes, breaking away in transition. And tough floaters or pull ups over the taller Anadarko defenders. She also grabbed 5 boards and forced 3 steals as well. Keep an eye on McGee and her freshman sensation teammate King, to be a tough out come the playoffs next month.

The freshman from northeastern Oklahoma is already in the Vinita record book. She went 9-12 from three in a recent win over Verdigris, tying the school record for threes made in the game. On the night, Hency finished with a career high 29 point. If that shooting performance is any indication, she should she be breaking into 30+ points for a new career sooner rather than later. The Lady Hornets are now 9-6 on the year.

A key member of the massive frontline and backcourt for the fourth ranked Class 4A Locust Grove Lady Pirates. They routinely beat teams by 20+ points and Hooker fills up the stat sheet in those wins. On the year she's averaging 14 points, 5 steals 4 rebounds and 3 assists. There's only a slight area to improve, as for a shooter of her quality 36% from three is a tad low. Locust Grove will surely need clutch shooting from her to compete with the other juggernaut squads in a loaded Class 4A.

Out in western Oklahoma, Elk City is racking up the wins with a 12-2 record. Good for 13th in the recent Class 4A coach's poll. A key part of their successful season has been 1000 point scorer. She's quick with the ball in her hands, and the bucket she scored to hit 1000 was a great example of that. She attacked from the wing, carving up the defense before hitting a nice runner. They have a big weekend in Washington, Oklahoma. With the potential to match up with Broken Bow, Washington and North Rock Creek. Which should give a playoff type feel for Brown and Elkettes.
