Ava was very productive for Mystics Chosen during her AAU season. She has length, get-by-you quickness off the dribble, versatility as a slasher and three-point threat, and toughness that stands out. Ava was a Top Performer at the Northwood PGH Michigan College Tour, finishing multiple and-one layups through contact, impacting games on defense, and delivering in the clutch. She gets to the free-throw line by driving hard to the basket with determination and uses her long strides to side-step defenders along the way. Ava can knock down the open three, and her pesky defense creates steals on the defensive end. She’ll be a welcome addition to a college program and has offers from Macomb CC and SC4.

Ava, a guard for Mystics, showcased her length and athleticism with a strong performance at the MI College Tour Northwood. She consistently attacked the basket and finished through contact, converting multiple tough plays and earning a few and-one opportunities along the way. On the defensive end, she brought toughness and intensity, making things difficult for opposing players. One of her standout moments came late in a tight game, where she calmly knocked down a smooth pull-up jumper to help secure a two-point win for her team. Her combination of skill, strength, and competitiveness made her a key contributor throughout the event.

Ava has a second gear off the dribble and plays the game extremely fast on both sides of the ball. She has smooth shooting mechanics and buried a three-pointer with confidence off the catch. Ava attacked gaps to earn trips to the free-throw line and switched hands with ease. She causes turnovers with her defensive pressure and creates transition scoring. Ava is an exciting guard to watch and had a solid day for Team 6.

Ava jets around the court and can light up the scoreboard in a hurry with her three-point accuracy. She’s a scrappy defender, a confident ball-handler, and an effective facilitator. Ava penetrates gaps with her dribble and will be a speedy guard to watch at The Expo.

Ava showed how deadly she can be from three-point range with Anchor Bay at The Compound on Monday. She poured in five triples, hitting three of four attempts in the first half. Ava handled the ball confidently, dished quick passes to teammates, and made a difference on the defensive end.

Ava was an impactful playmaker at The Smoke for Michigan Goonies E40 2027. Ava motored down the lane with a determined dribble drive to score an emphatic and-one off two feet–sank her free throw. She used a quick crossover to fly by her defender and made a nice transfer with a high-pick up move to cause a foul. Ava scored another speedy layup off two feet and looked to be in peak form on Saturday.

Ava is an elusive sophomore guard who showed versatility to be excited about at the SVSU MLK Classic. She jumped up to block a shot, secured rebounds, accelerated to score layups with both hands, knocked down a corner jumper, and added a free throw. Her all-around style of play and high effort for Anchor Bay is something I’m excited to see more of during the travel season. Ava chipped in 7 points and 4 rebounds for the Tars.
