EDC State Prediction – Part 2

They might not have as much talent as other squads, but they play with smarts and a toughness that other teams don't possess. They are super aggressive and play really well together. It seems like every player is a 'role player', with no one really standing out. She has the most experience and brings a calm to her game. She is outstanding in the middle of their famous 2-3 zone and plays it to perfection. She is Red River's top scorer and has had a terrific first season of varsity action. She is very quick and tough. Her first step is really impressive. She is a steal machine, averaging 5.6 steals per game. She is an excellent rebounder and leads her team in boards. She is also averaging over 2.5 offensive rebounds per game. Those are effort stats and Payton certainly plays with great effort. This means Red River has had many different leading scorers throughout the season and Emerson is a capable scorer. She is a good rebounder, averaging the second most rebounds per game. They have enough pieces where they can be really good defensively. She has improved all of her statistical areas from the beginning of the season and is starting to show her defensive power down low. She is doing a nice job of playing alongside [player_tooltip player_id='641206' first='Callen' last='Fosher'] and has had many nice passes to her when she cuts to the basket. She has utilized her athleticism and strength on her drives to the basket and is doing a great job at finishing at the rim. She gets to the free-throw line a lot of times each game and is able to knock them down. She is currently the leading scorer for the Mustangs. She plays with confidence and swagger. She has been improving her outside shooting as the season has progressed. She has settled into the primarily ball-handler and done a really good job of taking care of the ball the second half of the season. She is a tremendous worker on the floor and plays with great passion and joy. She is a physical presence down low and can also step out to shoot from the perimeter. She plays hard and has accepted her role on the team. She is a good teammate out on the floor and I am sure her teammates are happy she is back playing hoops.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Shanley and North are the two other teams that are going to be fighting for the last two State Tournament positions.
