Zoe had a tremendous senior season. She is going to Concordia College to play both basketball and golf. The Mustangs started winning a lot of games when Zoe started to get get comfortable with a new team dynamic. She played cool, calm, and collected. One of the most impressive parts of her season was when she led the Mustangs to an upset victory over Horace. She finished that game scoring 22 points, including a three-pointer to ice the game in overtime. Zoe will be missed on the Mustangs and has a lot to be proud of in her career. She finished her senior season averaging 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.

Keene was selected to the All-EDC team last season and is likely a lock to make that list this season as well. She has received some college basketball looks but might end up playing college golf instead (she is an All-State golfer and state champion). Zoe plays with a calm demeaner on the court and is a great facilitator. She hardly makes mental mistakes and has a really nice looking shot. Zoe is a great player and will need to play well for Sheyenne to make a return to the state tournament in 25-26.

Zoe is a fantastic guard who has an edge over other players due to her mental toughness. She is a great golfer and I am a firm believer that golf helps athletes develop coping skills to overcome adversity. Zoe plays with a toughness on the court that is contagious. Another thing I have noticed about Zoe is how she gets better each year. This points to her commitment in the offseason and is exactly what college coaches expect out of their athletes.

Zoe had a nice camp and showed everyone why she was an All-Conference selection this past season. She has an incredible motor: it doesn’t look like she is ever tired. She is able to slip to the basket and finish near the rim or kick out to teammates for open threes. She is having a great offseason that will set herself up nicely for a stellar senior season.

Zoe plays with such passion and joy out on the floor. She has improved so much from the start of her high school career and is now a legitimate college prospect. Schools like Valley City and Concordia should be giving Zoe a call if they haven’t done so already. She is a good sized point guard for those leagues and moves well with and without the ball. Each year she seems to improve her shooting and there is no reason to think she won’t continue doing so.

Zoe has gotten better as the season has progressed and I have really enjoyed watching her play. She moves like a true point guard, utilizing hesitations, changes of speed, and changes of direction with the ball. She has really improved her ball security from the beginning of the season, cutting down on her turnovers. She is a good three-point shooter and is now averaging about 10 points per game. I respect Zoe putting her head down and getting to work this season.

Zoe has had a great season and has really improved throughout the year. She has settled into the primarily ball-handler and done a really good job of taking care of the ball the second half of the season. She is a tremendous worker on the floor and plays with great passion and joy. She is a capable three-point shooter and does a nice job of utilizing ball screens set by Metcalf.

Zoe is an athletic guard who has improved each year I have watched her. She has a nice, quick release on her shot and is able to knock down three-pointers when she gets her feet set. She is currently averaging the most three-point makes on her team, along with 7.7 points per game and 2.3 assists per game. Zoe does a nice job defending, particularly her on-ball defense. She is going to be needed to use her varsity experience from last season to help lead the Mustangs this season.
