Freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='1003768' first='Alice' last='Allen'] had another huge game and has been as impactful as any freshman in the area this year. Alice is a reliable spot-up shooter and does a great job forcing turnovers and finishing on the break. Alice is leading this Langley team in scoring as a freshman, and she is a star in the making. This Edison team defends at a high level, and Kennedy is a big piece of that. Kennedy is a knockdown shooter as well. Kennedy had a big game in Edison's blowout win over Lewis in the first round. Ahria is a good shooter and a terrific passer. She is an active defender and does a great job turning opposing guards over. Olivia hit a handful of mid-ranges, and she did a great job creating her own shot. Olivia competed on defense, and she hit a huge three to tie this game with less than 10 seconds left. Alyssa outworks everyone on the floor, and she has great defensive instincts. She has an elite motor, and she plays a lot bigger than she really is on the glass. Heritage is an elite defensive squad, and Alyssa is a big reason. She does good work as a scorer inside and can knock down open jump shots. Laila is a complete player, and she was fantastic this week. Laila is a great spot-up shooter, and she gets to the rim well. She is a smart defender with good instincts.
