I’d gotten familiar with Lueken through my work at Prep Dig. She shined in volleyball as a bouncy pin with a heavy swing and a good feel for the sport. Lueken looked just as comfortable on the basketball court when seeing her compete against Iowa City High in mid-January. She’s a three-level scorer capable of stretching the floor or exploding off of the bounce. Lueken keeps the ball moving but attacks when recognizing an opportunity. A sound rebounder on both ends, the junior might shine the most on defense, where she accepts tough assignments and locks up the opponent.
