Thomas has been dominant in every viewing since the Lady Indian's Area Championship last week. The title game was no different. She scored 8 in the first quarter and had 13 at the break. Was too strong, with quick and soft hands around the rim. For once she wasn't dialed in from three, but that didn't matter. She kept punishing the Lady Hornets around the rim.

The second part of El Reno's two headed monster. Bugaj was too fast, too in control and actually made light work of the Booker T Washington press. An absolute gamer. Briefly left the game late in the third with a leg injury, shook it off and helped her Lady Indians close out their second straight Class 5A State Championship. For good measure she drained the free throws down the stretch, leaving no doubt and giving her 30 points! 17-18 shooting from the line, with 6-10 from the field. What a way to cap an outstanding high school career.

One of the state's elite prospect finished her high school career with an impressive addition to her resume, a State Championship. She's the best overall athlete in this class and produced like it with a 18 point and 10 rebound title game performance. Half her boards came on the offensive glass, where her ability to generate second chance points helped gradually swing the Lady Panthers' way.

The microwave scorer went out on top with the Class 6A State Title. Had key scoring spurts and shots throughout. Finished with 11 points but every shot felt big, fitting for the game. Also left her mark with her creation abilities. Handing out 5 assists, very exciting passer in transition, with a fun game. Dillard was the third Lady Panther in double figures, and she'll be featured later this week.

It was a storybook night for Washington, which is fitting after back to back heartbreaks. Johnson was one of many Lady Warriors locked in. She had a stretch in the fourth quarter where everything she touched seemed to go. Including deep looks. At the half, she had 16 points. Would finish with 22 points by adding a couple more threes. Went an unbelievable 6 of 9 from distance. Tall. Shooters. A State Champion. What's not to like?
