[player_tooltip player_id='884640' first='Aubrey' last='Carder'] jumped onto the scene with Millard South High School this past three months and she made some big time waves across the state. Carder is a SG that makes smart choices with an act for being in the right place at the right time. She is coordinated and calculated in the way she likes to attack off the dribble, being a scoring threat from all over the floor. She is someone that acts with confidence first and thinks about the aftermath later. In this sport and at this age, that can be a great thing if you are efficient and from what I've seen so far, Carder is efficient. Depending on what you are looking for in a recruit, you could justify Carder being a Top Five player out of this Class. If she puts together another impressive AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] UAA program, she is sure to continue to be on the rise.

If you want to talk about one of the best pound-for-pound players I've seen this season from a skill-set standpoint was [player_tooltip player_id='882865' first='Jo' last='Metoyer'] of Omaha - Westview High School. Metoyer is an extremely skilled PG, that is lightning fast with the dribble. As a PG, I would put her in the category of a scoring-first type because of how many different ways she can beat her defender off the dribble. She can also find open teammates at a high rate but she would be the one that you would ask to go get you a bucket with 10 seconds left if need be. Metoyer debuts at #7 in this Update with room to grow. If she continues to show her offensive arsenal, while locking in on defense and some other intangibles then she is going to be a hot commodity in the recruiting world coming up here shortly.

The combination of height, length, athletic ability, and versatile ability that [player_tooltip player_id='884645' first='Brynna' last='Renard']has is eye-catching. Renard is currently considered a 6'1 CG with the ability to play between the 3 and 4 spot. She could even more over to the Center role in a small lineup and step out to keep the floor spaced but that all depends on the system of her team. This Winter Renard did a good job of standing out. She has a well rounded game so far, she just needs to contine to keep working on her weaknesses. If she does that and her physical ability keeps up, she could end up in the Top Five of this 2028 Class before her career comes to an end but for now, she fall into #8.

We have said it for a while now. If you can see the floor early in your career at a place like Millard West. You might be the real deal and that's what we have here with Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='882860' first='Londyn' last='Whitney']. Whitney did what she was asked to do this season as a freshman. If you are breaking down her play-style, it's something along the lines of being a powerful Forward, that can eat up space in a hurry near the basket with her natural height and coordinated movement. She would be considered more of a back-to-the-basket post but she can step out with some screening action and work from there as well. When she does step out to screen, she is very good at sealing her defender on the outside, making a convincing roll to the bucket. Defensively, she is someone to worry about. If you go into the lane, you have to watch out for her or else it might end up in a block or altered attempt. From what I've seen so far, this is one to keep an eye on moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='752947' first='Liv' last='Schieber'] rounds off the Top 10 because of her lock-down defense, her natural basketball IQ, and her better than average skill-set with the ball in her possession. Schieber is the one that stacks up the steals for your team. She can lock in on a certain opponent and hold them to small numbers in the production categories of the game. Offensively, she is going to be someone that runs the show. She is going to be the one to get others in the right spots, the one to make the extra pass, or the one that is willing to move away from the ball to create more space for her fellow teammates. I'd also like to note that she is someone that everyone would love to coach. She brings a great attitude to the court, no matter the circumstance and that stands out to those paying attention. This Spring/Summer she takes a big step up to compete with ETG Midwest on the Adidas Circuit. An experience I'm sure she is excited to be apart of.
