This weekend, many Wisconsin teams will play at the PGH Victory Region Kickoff in the Milwaukee area. There are plenty of names to know heading into the event. Since it's not a live period, there won't be any D1s in attendance in person, so we'll look at a few kids that the D2s and D3s could look at over the weekend. We'll start with some potential kids D2s could look at today.

[player_tooltip player_id='874383' first='Brianna' last='Breese']

Kids with positional size, like Breese, will draw immediate attention, and Breese improved this past high school season. The Notre Dame forward went from an end-of-the-rotation kid to a productive starting four by the time the season ended. Breese is a physical kid around the rim and was a double-double threat at the end of the season. Breese also can step out and knock down perimeter jumpers when she finds herself in space. She's an intriguing kid.

Brooklynn Lucassen

Sneakily, Lucassen was among the most productive offensive kids in the Fox River Classic Conference last season. The Preble guard was an efficient lead guard. She takes care of the ball, knocks down a high percentage of her three-point looks, and looks to get her teammates involved in the game. She's playing for the [program_tooltip program_id='713127' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'] 17U State team, so she's not in a top pool this weekend, but she'd be worth looking at for D2s.

[player_tooltip player_id='751243' first='Ava' last='Vogler']

I'm unsure if Vogler will be there this weekend because she's a standout soccer kid for Sun Prairie East, so she may not be around. However, if she is, Vogler is a kid who could be a kid D2s see value in. The Sun Prairie native is a natural scorer. She can score from all three levels, looks comfortable with the ball in her hands, and can make things happen off the dribble. She's a kid scholarship and should watch if they can find time.

[player_tooltip player_id='533066' first='Audrey' last='Meudt']

The Waunakee guard is a unique prospect for a team's backcourt. Meudt isn't a super explosive guard who'll routinely blow by defenders and get to the basket. The Waunakee guard will attack her defender's hip and use her pivot to finish around the rim. Meudt is also a perfect pivot point of an offense. She sees the floor well, is among the better passers in her class, and elevates the floor and ceiling when she's on the floor. She's not a prototypical guard, but she makes it work.
