Tualatin freshman phenom [player_tooltip player_id='1013738' first='Love' last='Lei Best'] is a high IQ, two-way playmaker who can take over a prep game at the highest level. The 5-foot-7 point guard was named to the 6A All-State First Team. Best picks apart defenses with excellent handles, mobility, and vision. When her tongue is out, you know something fun is about to happen. She's shifty with a deceptive change of pace to score from all three levels—shaking off the defender for the pull-up three, sneaking by with the floater in the paint, and slipping underneath with the scoop layup. Best creates offense for her teammates and can throw dimes in the paint. She's a menace on defense and forces costly turnovers that can change the momentum of a game. Best averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.9 steals per game and was named to the Three Rivers League First Team her freshman year. Best scored a state championship game-high 26 points in a fourth-quarter comeback win against a favored Clackamas team loaded with D1 commits. She averaged 20.7 points (shooting 50% from the field, 67% from three, and 100% from the free-throw line) and 3.7 assists per game at the state tournament and was unanimously named to the All-Tournament First Team.

Benson freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1013457' first='Jayla' last='Lackey'] is a strong presence inside with a soft touch from the midrange to the rim. The 6-foot-3 power forward battles in the paint on both ends, crashes the offensive glass, and is an efficient scorer. Lackey can post up, drive, and hit the turnaround jumper in the paint. She draws an extra defender and can pass out effectively. Lackey can defend the best bigs in the state. She bodies up, protects the paint and the rim, rebounds strong, and pushes the pace with a quick outlet pass. Lackey averaged 11.7 points (shooting 55% from the field), 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game and was named to the Portland Interscholastic League First Team her freshman year.

Tualatin freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1014114' first='Kendall' last='Dawkins'] is smart, strong, and athletic on both ends of the court. The 6-foot forward/guard attacks the rim on the dribble or the off-ball cut, hits the catch-and-shoot three, and battles for rebounds. She can finish through contact and dish or kickout for the assist. She has a quick first step and is a tough defender. Dawkins averaged 10.4 points, 6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.6 steals per game and was named to the Three Rivers League First Team her freshman year. She was a top-five rebounder at the 6A state tournament and helped win the state title for the Timberwolves.

Jesuit Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1013188' first='Ceanna' last='Forney'] goes to work inside, blocking shots in the paint on one end and hooking shots in the net on the other. The 6-foot-4 center can finish over both shoulders at the rim and knock down the catch-and-shoot three. She moves off-ball, is effective in the pick-and-roll, draws an extra defender, and can pass out. Forney averaged 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks per game and was named Metro League Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-League First Team her freshman season.

Benson freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1125424' first='Kyoko' last='Beasley'] is a fun hooper with quick lateral movement. The 5-foot-10 point guard has the ball-handling, three-point shooting, and playmaking abilities and instincts to become great. Beasley can pull up from deep, fake and blow by on the perimeter, and dish the no-look assist in the paint. She can anticipate the play on defense, jump the passing lane for the steal, and finish the fast break layup. Beasley averaged 7.6 points (shooting 42% from the field and 31% from three), 2 steals, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 rebounds per game and was named to the Portland Interscholastic League Second Team her freshman year.
