She swiped a steal on defense and put her defender in jail, shielding the ball with her body in transition. Bella consistently beat defenders off the dribble, scoring and-one layups or causing fouls. She dropped in floaters with a soft touch in the paint, rotated quickly to make a help side block, and drained a wing three. Bella secured rebounds, grabbed many steals, and made a sweet sweep move before dishing a jump pass assist to a teammate. She scored an and-one layup plus the free throw, a left-handed layup off the dribble, and blew past defenders to score another layup. Kayla chased down offensive rebounds and picked pockets for many steals. She does a great job of keeping her feet balanced before shooting the ball and will be a big contributor for the Soldiers this winter.

Kelsey was in peak form for New Lothrop at the Swartz Creek Summer League. She leaped up to snag an entry pass and finished the layup off two feet. Kelsey knocked down multiple mid-range jumpers, converted free throws, and finished layups off the drive. She drained a corner three and swished a smooth triple from the wing off the dribble. Kelsey brought the ball up as a point guard throughout the day and handled it confidently with both hands. Her length, perimeter shooting, and versatility are qualities that keep catching attention from college coaches.

Savannah was a dominant forward for Davison at the Swartz Creek Summer League. In game one, Savannah scored offensive rebound put backs, went back door to score a layup, and stepped outside to bury a straightaway three-pointer. She kept the ball rolling in game two, dropping in a contested floater off the glass and draining another three-pointer from the corner. Savannah took a defensive rebound the length of the floor to score a contested transition layup and sealed her defender to score a strong-and-one layup. Savannah blocked shots, scored offensive rebound put-backs, and used a nice drop-step pivot to finish a left-handed layup off the glass. Savannah led all scorers with 19 points. She is very effective playing out of the high post and making reads in the Princeton system. Savannah is an excellent face-up forward who can drive, cut back door, stretch her game outside, and roll to the basket off screens.

Madyson had a solid day for New Lothrop at the Swartz Creek Summer League. She made a great overhead pass to a teammate and actively communicated on the defensive end. Madyson pursued rebounds on both ends and generated steals. One of her top plays happened when she secured an offensive rebound, then scored a challenging scoop layup through a foul under a defender's arm. Madyson showed her outside range by burying a straightaway triple off the catch and drove hard to the basket to earn free throws.

Tanner played her best basketball during the Swartz Creek Summer League for Goodrich and made a heavy impact on both ends of the court. Her perimeter game was on point as Tanner drained multiple triples from the wing and the corner. She closed out quickly to block a three-point attempt on the perimeter, worked hard to defend the post, and was a strong rebounding presence. Tanner used a jab step to shift her defender, blew by with a quick crossover dribble, and finished the layup. Her versatility as a perimeter and inside player will be very important to the team's success this winter.

Several 2026 prospects were very productive for their teams at the Swartz Creek Summer League and caught my attention with their performance on June 10th. Here are the girls who stood out!
